The Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) of Sta. Ana National High School marked the dates March 11 and 12 as the first-ever celebration of STEM Day, held in honor of the STEM Club.
Aligned with their theme, “KineTech: A Movement for STEM Discovery and Innovation,” the STEM Club embraced STEM discoveries during the first day of celebration, while ensuring a kinetic movement during the second day.
Day 1 transformed the campus into an interactive learning hub—featuring each curriculum’s output: Grade 7’s environmental science projects, Grade 8’s microbiology exhibits, and Grade 9’s robotics display. The event also featured interactive games created by each curriculum, celebrating the role of STEM even in terms of recreational activities. A photobooth was also set up, capturing moments of participation and appreciation for the STEM Day event.
Day 2 turned up the energy with non-stop kinetic games, featuring Larong Pinoy—expressing STEM’s sense of patriotism. STEM students transformed chaos into coordination, energy into impact, and teamwork into excellence, proving that when young minds move together, balance is not only found, but built.
The STEM Club officers, together with the club facilitators, made the event possible by organizing it with vision and dedication.
Capturing the success of the 2026 STEM Day now stands as a meaningful reference for the growth and movement of STEM in the years to come. Through KineTech, the celebration did not only showcase discovery and innovation, but also ignited a continuous movement of curiosity, collaboration, and scientific spirit that will carry STEM forward for the next generations.

Empowering Envisioned Advocacies through Digital Literacy
On March 6, 2026, a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) student, Jemisa P. Cenas, took on the challenge and proudly represented the school in the Cluster 1 Festival of Talents: Advocacy Pitch, held at Sta. Ana National High School.
Together with her teammate, the duo presented their advocacies through creative and engaging presentations—reflecting their dedication in expressing visionary advocacies through verbal and nonverbal communications.
Among all the participating schools in Cluster 1, the team successfully secured 2ND PLACE, highlighting the school’s empowerment in strengthening public speaking, critical thinking, and digital literacy. This win won't be achieved by the learners without the guidance of their coach—Ma'am Iris Luyaga from the English Department.
The STEM Club extends its warmest congratulations to this outstanding STEM learner. May your dedication, courage, and visionary ideas continue to inspire fellow students to become advocates of innovation, responsibility, and meaningful change in today’s digital age. Your pitch and vision truly made an impact.

SOARING BEYOND THE FIGURES; LEARNING BETWEEN THE FACTS
Numbers do not just deal with metrics; from another angle, these numerical digits are more than what they seem—the logic of totality, the heart of reliability.
Numbers are viewed differently, but a sharp-witted STEM student named Cydril Onie D. Valencia from Grade 9 Einstein took on the challenge of going beyond metrics—understanding numbers as a mass interpretation and as the voice of the nation.
The STEM student valorously represented Sta. Ana National High School in the 36th Celebration of the Civil Registration Month, together with his bright coach, Ronell L. Lemen, at PSA RSSO XI, Davao City.
As a first-timer in this field, the feeling of uneasiness did not escape the lad; dealing with numbers from a different perspective is indeed a challenge, yet he managed to maintain his composure with the thought of representing the school with pride.
Ultimately, this participation highlighted what the STEM strand is all about: when students approach numbers with curiosity and purpose, they become much more than just figures—they turn into a reliable way to understand society and give voice to the nation.

STREETS SCIENCE EDUCATION | SKWELAKALSADA YEAR 3
On the 17th day of January, a small science exploration took place at Brgy. 25-C. This teaching program wasn't about testing a student’s mastery, but rather about reaching a true understanding and essence of science through hands-on experience. This program gathers impressive minds to further cultivate their scientific knowledge—no matter their age or educational background.
Spearheaded by the Science Department of Sta. Ana National High School, the young volunteers of the Science, Technology, and Engineering (STE) program took part in making this event possible. These students worked hard to show that growing interest for science is possible anywhere, even in small baranggays.
The STE student volunteers were the heart of this program, explaining and demonstrating science concepts usually expressed in secondary learning level. Through interactive learning, they allowed our "street geniuses" to experience and understand the beauty of science for themselves.
These STE youth played a major part in the day, sharing the wisdom they have developed from their specialized field. They didn’t just bring science lessons to the streets; they brought a fun and engaging way of learning. Their efforts to bring joy were clear to see, making the atmosphere exciting for everyone involved.
This initiative reminds us that the world is one big classroom. Science should not be confined to four walls or high-end laboratories; it belongs to the people and the communities. Because when we bring education to the streets, we prove that curiosity knows no boundaries and that learning can happen anywhere.
