Bridging cultures and strengthening academic partnerships, the Faculty Immersion Program officially commenced on June 7, 2026 at Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha(UNDIKSHA) Singaraja, Bali, Indonesia 🇮🇩, with the participation of the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management Education (CHaTME) faculty: Kimberly Mae A. Merlow, MM, BSTM Focal Person for IZN; Jully Gil Bariquit, MBA, BSTM Practicum Coordinator and Research Focal Person; and Dan Daryl Taporoc, MM, BSHM CES Focal Person.
This initiative, led by the HCDC Center for Linkages, Internationalization and Language Studies (Link-In & LS) in collaboration with UNDIKSHA and CHaTME, serves as a platform for internationalization, cultural immersion, and academic exchange among partner institutions.
The program was formally opened by Prof. Trianasari, Ph.D., CHE, who emphasized in her welcoming remarks the shared commitment of HCDC and UNDIKSHA to pursue more collaborative programs in the future, strengthening academic partnerships, fostering meaningful friendships, and building lasting institutional ties. Participants also gained valuable insights into Balinese customs and etiquette through a session led by Made Riki Ponga Kusyanda, S.Tr.Par., M.Par., followed by cultural visits to Gedong Kirtya, Buleleng Museum, Puri Agung, and the Puri under the guidance of Made Aryawan Adijaya, S.Pd., M.Pd.
The day concluded with a welcome dinner, where participants and hosts exchanged ideas, experiences, and aspirations for future collaborations, embodying the true spirit of global learning and cultural understanding.
This program contributes to the achievement of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals ( ), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education through international learning opportunities, SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through cross-border institutional collaboration, and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities by promoting the appreciation and preservation of cultural heritage.

It is with deep sorrow that we inform the Holy Cross of Davao College community of the passing of Mr. Alex V. Buenaventura, former Member of the Board of Trustees of Holy Cross of Davao College (2000-2016).
The wake and final rites are being held in his honor, providing family, friends, colleagues, and members of the HCDC community an opportunity to remember his life and pay their respects as he is laid to rest.
As we mourn the loss of a valued member of our institution, we join in prayer for Mr. Buenaventura and his bereaved family. May God grant them comfort and strength during this time of grief, and may his soul rest in eternal peace.

NOTICE TO ALL GRADUATING STUDENTS (TERTIARY LEVEL)
In consideration of the recent earthquake and the subsequent suspension of onsite operations, the deadline for graduation applications (tertiary level) has been extended from June 11 to June 16, 2026 (Tuesday), 5:00PM.
This extension is intended to give our graduating students more time to safely comply with their remaining requirements.
Please coordinate with your respective program heads or the Registrar’s Office for any questions or assistance regarding your applications.
