The Food Processing Innovation Center - Davao is looking for: one (1) licensed Pharmacist or Medical Technologist and one (1) Food Technologist to fill the positions of Science Research Specialist I and Laboratory Aide I, respectively.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Science Research Specialist I
📍Has experience in conducting research works,
📍Has background in in vitro and/or in vivo studies;
📍Minimum eight (8) hours of relevant trainings; and
📍With excellent verbal and written communication skill.
Laboratory Aide I
📍Registered Chemical Technician is an advantage;
📍Minimum eight (8) hours of relevant trainings; and
📍Must be willing to understand the principles and learn to operate food processing equipment.

The Food Processing Innovation Center-Davao conducted a two-day Training Workshop on Intellectual Property (IP) Management and Prior Art Search last December 01-02, 2022. The workshop was conducted to foster awareness on the importance of protecting and managing IP and IP Rights among the BS Food Technology students of the Philippine Women's College of Davao, as aspiring food technologists and scientists.
Huge thanks to our guests and resource speakers for imparting invaluable information to the participants and for making this workshop possible.

Ms. Hazel D. Prevendido from the Food Processing Innovation Center - Davao with Ms. Dorothy Joy M. Candillas from the Department of Science and Technology XI conducted a Good Manufacturing Practices Awareness Seminar at Barangay Cadalian, Baguio District , Davao City last May 20, 2022. The said seminar was for the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s Livelihood Assistance Grant beneficiaries.
The activity was initiated by Ms. Noba Jessa S. Lopez of the Department of Social Welfare and Development and facilitated by Mr. Vince Jay Padillo of the Davao City Science and Technology Center.
