For students who have not yet paid their 2nd Semester CSSG Membership Fee for the Academic Year 2025–2026, please be informed that CSSG will resume its collection and clearance signing on 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at the 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲.

Today we commemorate the birth of the Philippines' National Hero, José Rizal. Born on June 19, 1861, his courage, intellect, and love for country still inspire generations of Filipinos today. Through his writings he awakened national consciousness and pushed for peaceful reform during a pivotal stretch of Philippine history.

His legacy reminds us to value education, hold on to integrity, and serve our nation with pride and purpose.

𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐇𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐊𝐄 𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐈𝐍 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍: 𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐒𝐀𝐅𝐄𝐓𝐘 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐒

As part of ongoing efforts to boost disaster preparedness and keep the academic community safe, students took part in an earthquake drill held on June 18 at DCC Campus, starting right at 9 AM. They showed discipline doing the standard safety steps: “Duck, Cover, and Hold.”

The drill had all students practicing how to respond during an earthquake. And it really drove home how much quick action matters when it comes to lowering risks and avoiding injuries. When the alarm went off, learners didn’t hesitate.

This activity is a solid reminder that safety isn’t just one person’s job, it’s everyone’s. By joining drills like this, students aren’t only memorizing steps. They’re also picking up the ability to stay calm and react fast when something unexpected happens.

School officials keep urging everyone to take these drills seriously and join in fully. These aren’t just school requirements, they stress. They’re practices that can actually save lives. So with everyone showing up and participating regularly, the whole school community grows more prepared and more resilient against natural disasters.

At the end of the day, this earthquake drill is proof of how much awareness, readiness, and unity matter in keeping everyone on campus safe.

Every ending creates a new beginning.

The incoming CSSG officers gathered with the outgoing council and school administrators for the official Turnover Ceremony, marking the formal transfer of leadership, responsibilities, records, and organizational resources for Academic Year 2026–2027.

More than handing over documents and materials, the ceremony symbolized the passing of trust, experience, and commitment from one generation of student leaders to the next. It was a moment of gratitude for the service of the outgoing officers and a reminder of the responsibility now carried by the incoming council.

As a new chapter begins, the CSSG looks forward to continuing its mission of serving, representing, and empowering every DCCian.
