Today, August 12, 2026, marks the 90th martyrdom anniversary of Blessed Victoria Díez Bustos de Molina (11 November 1903 - 12 August 1936), a well-loved public school teacher, a catechist, and a member of the Teresian Association who gave up her life for her faith. She was known for her passion as well as her commitment to the education of children. She was beatified by Pope John Paul II on 10 October 1993 in St. Peter's Square, Vatican City.

We thank the Lord for her life and unwavering witness of faith. We pray that God grant us the grace to find daily inspiration in her profound courage and her deep, unshakeable faith in God's divine providence. We may learn to love others selflessly, to educate with passion, and to proclaim God's truth boldly in our everyday actions. May we, like Blessed Victoria Diez, remain completely anchored in God's love, trusting that He is always by our side, even until the very end.

It is with a grateful heart that we announce a landmark partnership between ITEC, Inc. (Saint Pedro Poveda College) and the City College of Davao!

This exciting collaboration officially launches a specialized Internship Program designed specifically for Early Childhood Education students of City College of Davao.

Through this program, our future teachers will gain invaluable, hands-on classroom experience, mentorship, and the practical skills needed to nurture the next generation of young learners.

By combining our expertise and giving the students an opportunity to learn and experience the Personalized Education of Poveda, we are building stronger pathways for academic excellence, fostering stronger value system and shaping the future of early childhood education together!
