August was another month of bringing learning beyond the classroom as the Mobile Library Service reached

The learners took part in engaging storytelling and book reading sessions, while also gaining valuable knowledge through Disaster Education Orientation, First Aid Training, and Basic Life Support (BLS). These activities encouraged a love for reading while equipping learners with practical skills for safety, preparedness, and emergency situations.

From the pages of a book to skills that can save lives, the Mobile Library continues to bring meaningful learning experiences closer to every community. ๐Ÿ“–โค๏ธ๐Ÿš

The Davao City Library and Information Center (DCLIC), in partnership with the Carl E. Balita Review Center (CBRC Davao City), successfully conducted Sessions 3, 4, and 5 of the Civil Service Exam Supplemental Review on July 18, July 25, and August 1, 2026.

Session 3, facilitated by Ms. Genevieve Dimalalu-an, LPT, focused on Numerical Ability, while Session 4, led by Atty. Audrey P. Laude, LPT, covered Analytical Ability. The final session on August 1 featured the Mock Board Examination and Final Coaching, providing participants with an opportunity to assess their readiness and receive final test-taking guidance.

Through this partnership, DCLIC and CBRC continue to support aspiring civil servants by providing accessible and meaningful review opportunities.
