Last August 12, 2026, St. Alexius College Flying School had the pleasure of welcoming CAE to the SACFS Hangar for an insightful and informative session on the journey toward becoming an airline pilot.

The visit gave our aspiring aviators a clearer understanding of airline career pathways, Airbus A320 and ATR 72-600 training programs, and the next steps beyond flight school. It was a valuable opportunity to learn directly from industry professionals, ask questions, and gain a better perspective on what lies ahead in a professional aviation career.

Safety is a shared responsibility. Last July 31, 2026, St. Alexius College Flying School successfully conducted a Fire Drill at the SACFS Hangar to strengthen emergency preparedness and ensure that our students, instructors, and staff are equipped with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively in the event of a fire emergency.

Emergency drills play a vital role in promoting awareness, improving response procedures, and fostering a culture of safety within our institution. At SACFS, we remain committed to providing a safe learning and working environment through continuous preparedness and proactive safety practices.

Last June 26, 2026, our Flight Instructors, Capt. Kyle Morales and Capt. Paolo Umali, participated in the Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) seminar held in Cebu City, with Capt. Dexter Comendador as the guest speaker.

Last April 10, 2026, BSIT students from St. Alexius College Marbel visited the SACFS hangar for an educational tour and aviation experience. The visit included an introduction to our aircraft fleet, hands-on exposure to the Redbird Flight Simulator, and an overview of the licenses and training required in a pilot’s journey.
