📢 PTA GENERAL ASSEMBLY, PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCE, AND TERM 1 CARD DISTRIBUTION

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Greetings!

We warmly invite all parents and guardians to attend the Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) General Assembly on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the School Gym.

This assembly will provide an opportunity to discuss important school programs, policies, and activities for the academic year. Your presence and active participation are highly encouraged as we work together to support the academic success and overall well-being of our learners.

Following the PTA General Assembly, the Parent-Teacher Conference will give parents and teachers a chance to discuss each learner's academic performance, progress, strengths, and areas for improvement. Report Cards for Term 1 will also be distributed during this time.

Your presence is vital in strengthening the partnership between home and school for the benefit of our learners.

​Buhisan National High School warmly welcomed Dr. Johnito Galan (PSDS – Cluster I) and Dr. Edelcris Calzadora (PSDS – Cluster 11) for the official PAKIG-AMBIT 2026: Technical Assistance, Visit, and Assessment!

​Driven by the core values of A.M.B.I.T. — Assess, Monitor, Build-Up, Implement, and Tasking — this visit was a fruitful day of shared knowledge, constructive alignment, and continuous support for our school’s academic programs, teaching strategies, and learning recovery initiatives.

​✨ Highlights of the Visit:

​🔹 Courtesy Call & Briefing – Presentation of school profile, enrollment updates, and key academic programs.

​🔹 Campus & Classroom Visits – On-site evaluation of learning environments, resource facilities, safety protocols, and active classroom teaching.

We cordially invite our parents and learners to attend our School Orientation designed to prepare everyone for a successful and meaningful school year. This important gathering will cover key topics that ensure our community is informed, protected, and ready to thrive:

* Bullying Awareness & Prevention – Building a safe and respectful environment for all.

* Child Protection Policy – Safeguarding every learner’s rights and well-being.

To our dear learners and parents;

​Please accept our sincerest apologies for this very short notice. We are informing you that face-to-face classes will resume tomorrow.

​This sudden shift is in compliance with the newly issued directive stating that in-person classes must resume immediately for schools with no major structural damage.

​We completely understand that this leaves very little time to prepare. We highly appreciate your flexibility, understanding, and cooperation as we transition back to the classroom on such short notice.

Please be informed that Buhisan National High School will continue implementing the Blended Learning Modality tomorrow, Monday, June 15, 2026.

​🔍 Why the Extension?

​This continuation is a vital precautionary measure as we await the official structural safety assessment of our school buildings by the Office of the City Building Official (OCBO). As always, the safety and well-being of our learners, faculty, and staff remain our absolute priority.

​📋 Important Reminders:

​For Learners: Please stay safe at home and closely monitor your respective class group chats for asynchronous tasks and learning materials provided by your teachers.

​For Enrollees: Please be informed that enrollment services will proceed tomorrow. Staff will be available to cater to those who wish to enroll.

​Further announcements regarding the resumption of face-to-face classes will be posted as soon as the official building inspection is cleared and finalized.
