Dr. Reil, our Program Head, expresses his utmost pride in observing the continuous development of our students as they advance into capable and innovation-driven young entrepreneurs. The recently conducted Business Plan Implementation Assessment and Evaluation stands as a significant academic requirement and a key measure of their preparedness for professional entrepreneurial practice within the BS Entrepreneurship program of the University of Mindanao.

AYE proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of the University of Mindanao Main Campus for securing four medals at the FIMiEx 2025 International Innovation Exhibition in Kuantan, Malaysia.

As fellow entrepreneurship students, we are inspired by UM Team A and Team B’s groundbreaking innovations—from AI-driven farming solutions to sustainable biocomposites—that earned gold and silver among 112 entries across Southeast Asia.

Their success showcases the power of youth-led innovation and fuels our drive to elevate our own entrepreneurial excellence.

Together, we continue shaping a future built on creativity, passion, and purpose.

Congratulations to the University of Mindanao Main Campus for securing four medals at the FIMiEx 2025 Faculty Industrial Management (FIM) – International Innovation Exhibition, held on November 29–30, 2025, in Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia.

The event, hosted by Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah, showcased 112 innovative entries from institutions across Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and Philippines.

UM Team A captured two gold medals in both the FIM Innovation and the Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge with their concepts LUPA, an AI-powered farming guide from planting to harvest, and Sobear, a natural flavored candy that boosts alcohol tolerance and reduces intoxication.

UM Team B earned a gold medal in the Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge with TanimPro, a tool that boosts farm productivity by integrating modern tech with traditional practices, and a silver medal in FIM Innovation for Dayami BioFilm, a fully compostable rice-straw biocomposite that produces sustainable packaging.

They confidently presented their innovative business ideas before a panel of industry experts, who provided valuable insights to help refine and strengthen their concepts. The strong performance of both teams highlights UM’s growing culture of innovation and entrepreneurship on the global stage.

This opportunity allows our representatives to present their innovative insights and entrepreneurial mindset before an international audience. Their involvement reflects AYE’s ongoing commitment to fostering meaningful academic engagement and supporting young leaders in showcasing their potential beyond local boundaries.
