Malamba Elementary School successfully conducted its Stakeholdersโ Forum in conjunction with the celebration of the schoolโs Founding Anniversary, bringing together partners, community leaders, and stakeholders in a meaningful gathering that reaffirmed their shared commitment to quality education and community development.
The event was graced by members of the Astilla family, namely Hon. Allan M. Astilla Sr., Maโam Melba Astilla Robrigado, Maโam Efipania Astilla, Maโam Aida Astilla Abo, and Sir Roger A. Astilla, who are the heirs of the generous donor of the land on which Malamba Elementary School now stands. Their presence served as a reminder of the familyโs enduring legacy and invaluable contribution to the establishment and continued growth of the school. Their unwavering support through the years reflects their commitment to the schoolโs mission of providing quality education to the community.
Also in attendance were representatives from the PNP Davao City Police Office โ Police Station 12, the Hiraya Production Team, the Barangay Malamba Council headed by Hon. Allan M. Astilla, together with Kagawad Dominador D. Pandian. The Sangguniang Kabataan Council, headed by Hon. Alanodin I. Sali, and the Sambunotan Youth Organization also participated in the activity, demonstrating the youthโs active involvement in community and educational initiatives.
Representing the learners was the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG), headed by its President, Elisa Sabirah Ale. Also present were the officers and board members of the School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA), led by its President, Ms. Anaclaire Guadalupe, who reaffirmed the parentsโ unwavering support for the schoolโs programs and initiatives.
The forum was likewise honored by the presence of Dr. Antonio R. Obsioma from the Davao City Agriculture Office and Maโam Susana Salvacion A. Ortiz, City Link of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) โ Davao City, whose participation further strengthened the collaborative efforts among various sectors in promoting the welfare and education of every learner.
The Stakeholdersโ Forum served as a platform for collaboration, open dialogue, and shared responsibility in addressing the schoolโs needs, celebrating its accomplishments, and setting future goals. It also recognized the invaluable contributions of every stakeholder whose unwavering support has played a vital role in the continuous development of Malamba Elementary School.
As the school commemorated another milestone in its history, all stakeholders collectively expressed their commitment to continue supporting Malamba Elementary School through active participation, collaboration, and shared dedication to providing learners with a safe, inclusive, and quality learning environment.
The activity concluded with a renewed pledge from all stakeholders to work hand in hand in sustaining the schoolโs programs and initiatives. Together, they reaffirmed that through unity, cooperation, and shared responsibility, Malamba Elementary School will continue to thrive and provide quality education for generations to come.
