It takes sharp focus, patience, and strong leadership from our senior ranks to help guide the next batch of kendokas as they take this huge step toward wearing armor. We were all in their shoes once, and seeing their dedication only fires us up to keep improving ourselves.

Shoutout to our Beginner’s Class for passing their Bogu Exam! No more just practicing strikes in the air—it’s time to suit up and take on full keiko! 💪🏻⚔️🔥

It’s more than just a hobby—it’s discipline, focus, loud kiai, and pushing past your limits every single practice. ⚔️🖤

From the outside, it looks intense. From the inside, it’s pure peace. 🍃

Wednesday Keiko - September 30, 2026

Huge milestone night as we officially welcomed our newest members into the Bogu Class! Wearing armor for the first time is a massive step in every kendoka’s journey—it means more sweat, bigger challenges, and a whole new level of fun. Seeing the dojo floor filled with both fresh enthusiasm and seasoned support reminds us why we love training together.

Sore muscles tomorrow, but pure gratitude tonight. Keep fighting, everyone! 🔥

Saturday Keiko - September 26, 2026

Looking at a full dojo packed with practitioners of all levels—each giving their absolute best, shouting through the exhaustion, and cheering each other on—reminds me why this community is so special. The intensity on the floor transforms into genuine respect and camaraderie the second the armor comes off.
