In this Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus asks His disciples, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter’s answer was more than a title—it was a declaration of faith: “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” 🙏

We may know about Jesus, but faith becomes personal when we recognize who He is in our own lives—the One who strengthens us, guides us, and gives us a foundation to stand on.

So this Friday, let’s pause and ask ourselves: Who is Jesus to me?

Kadayawan, a holiday, and TGIF Night? Now that’s something to celebrate! 💙✨

As Davao celebrates Kadayawan and gives thanks for its many blessings, this Sunday’s Gospel reminds us of a faith that never gives up. The Canaanite woman continued to seek Jesus despite the obstacles, trusting that He would hear her. Her persistence became a beautiful testimony of faith: “O woman, great is your faith!” 🙏

Sometimes, our prayers may seem unanswered, but faith calls us to keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing. God’s grace meets us through every season—from one grace to another.

So this holiday Friday, let’s come together for Grace to Grace Worship Night—to give thanks, worship, and celebrate the One whose grace never runs out.

Take courage. It is I. Do not be afraid. 🤍

May this TGIF Night remind us to keep our eyes on Jesus, trust Him through every wave, and walk by faith every day.

How often do we let fear speak louder than faith? 🌊💜

There are moments in life when the waves feel too strong, the storms seem endless, and we wonder if we’ll make it through. Like Peter, we begin with courage, but when we focus more on the wind than on Jesus, fear slowly takes over.

In this Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus reminds us of a simple yet powerful truth: “Take courage. It is I. Do not be afraid.” Peter only began to sink when he took his eyes off Christ, but even then, Jesus immediately reached out His hand to lift him up. What a beautiful reminder that our faith isn’t about never falling—it’s about knowing who will always catch us when we do. 🙏

As we begin our first TGIF Night of the month, let it be a fresh start to place our trust in God once again. No matter what storms you may be facing, remember that Jesus never leaves you to face them alone. He is always present, calling you to step out in faith and walk with Him.
