Launching/Kick-off of the 2025 National Women's Month celebration, held at Doña Asuncion Hizon Elementary School on March 3,2025, powerfully highlighted the theme "Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas." This event served as a testament to the significant contributions of women across all sectors, inspiring us to work towards a more inclusive and prosperous Philippines. Grateful for the inspiring National Women's Month celebration, led by our principal Mam Analyn Tiongson!

EARLY REGISTRATION
More significant societal change can be initiated by early school enrollment. It promotes a more inclusive and equitable viewpoint within communities and opposes cultural norms that limit the roles that women and girls can play.
While early school enrollment generally has a beneficial impact on gender and development, in order to achieve sustained positive outcomes, it's crucial to take into account a number of elements, including the quality of schooling, the cultural environment, and the need for continued assistance. To maximize the advantages of early education for both genders, it is also important to address challenges including gender-based violence, social standards, and financial limitations.

DISTRICT MEET JANUARY 26, 2024
Engaging in sports contests established gender norms, breaking the idea that some sports are only appropriate for males or females.
Playing sports may give students of both genders equal opportunity, which promotes equality and female empowerment.

MIDYEAR PERFORMANCE REVIEW AND EVALUATION (MPRE)

-service training can help teachers become more aware of gender issues and develop a deeper understanding of gender equality. This awareness can lead to more equitable treatment of students and the integration of gender-sensitive perspectives in teaching materials.
In-service training can provide professional development opportunities for teachers. This can help to break down gender barriers in the educational system and promote gender equality in school leadership roles.
Continuous evaluation and improvement of these programs are essential to ensure their long-term impact on gender and development.

3 Day SCHOOL BASED ACTION RESEARCH TRAINING WORKSHOP/WRITESHOP (January 13, 20,27, 2023)
Research skills, such as study design, data collecting, analysis, and interpretation, are taught to the teachers. These abilities help to create evidence-based strategies to address gender-related issues and are beneficial in a variety of professional contexts. Research training frequently entails report writing, presentation of findings, and effective communication. Teachers gain excellent communication skills that help them explain difficult gender-related ideas and study findings to a variety of audiences, such as the policymakers and the public.
Overall, the conduct of research training in gender and development has the potential to empower learners, shaping them into informed, skilled, and socially responsible individuals who actively contribute to promoting gender equality and sustainable development.

SCHOOL HEROES PARK
A Heroes Park can serve as an educational resource for students to learn about the historical contributions made by both men and women. This can aid in the creation of a more thorough and balanced understanding of societal development.
Examining the stories of the park's heroes may encourage students to consider gender roles, equality, and society traditions from a critical point of view. A commitment to promoting gender equality and a sense of social duty may result from this.
Learning about the lives and accomplishments of heroes, particularly those who have overcome obstacles linked to gender, can inspire students to have faith in their own abilities. This can be especially helpful in fostering resilience and confidence.

3 Day Training Workshop - The Implementation of Special Education Program and Inclusive Education (May 27, June 3 and 10, 2023)

Training in special education often includes lessons on gender awareness and sensitivity. This promotes a more encouraging and courteous learning environment by assisting teachers in understanding the unique needs and experiences of pupils according to their gender.
It also places a strong emphasis on the value of individualized instruction to fulfill each student's particular needs. When it comes to gender disparities, educators can modify their methods to better meet the unique strengths and difficulties that each gender brings, leading to more successful learning results.

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲

Every child has their own unique, loving, and wonderful family. A family who never leaves. A family who is always there to comfort and help each other. For me, this kind of family has to be experienced by every child in the world.

I have my own unique family. They are sometimes annoying but I love them. They care and give comfort when I need it most. I love them so much.

I have wonderful parents. They are the ones who take care of me. Like any other household, they sometimes fight, but after some arguments, everything goes back to normal. They sometimes make fun of me or throw silly jokes at me, which either makes me happy or annoys me. They instilled the importance of aiming for good grades as a way, to have a better future.

Furthermore, I have two siblings. We call ourselves the TROUBLE TRIO. As the older sister, I have to watch over them all the time, in all aspects. It sometimes felt tiring looking after them, but I realized my life would become boring without them. We always laugh and play together. We are inseparable.

A happy family means that they always protect and help each other. A happy family goes through struggles but finds solutions together. I believe children with this kind of family are lucky. Therefore, I am lucky. I am blessed.
