𝙍𝘾𝙔 𝙎𝘼𝙉𝙃𝙎 𝙈𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝙈𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙨 𝙎𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙩𝙮 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙮𝙖, 𝙎𝙋𝘼 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡

On March 06, 2026, the RCY SANHS was on duty during the Maranaya Event (SPA Recital), remaining on standby to ensure the safety and well being of everyone present throughout the program. As performers showcased their talent and dedication on stage, the team stayed attentive around the venue, ready to immediately respond whenever assistance was needed.

During the event, several participants experienced hyperventilation and dizziness, likely brought by nervousness and exhaustion before their performances. The RCY medic members immediately responded each time, assisting the students to a safe and comfortable area. With calm guidance and proper first aid response, they helped regulate their breathing, allowed them to rest, and carefully monitored their condition until they gradually felt better. Through quick coordination and teamwork, every situation was handled smoothly.

This instance reflected the real spirit of RCY service. It is more important to be prepared to care for, react to, and assist others when it counts most than it is to always be seen. The RCY SANHS Medic Team once again fulfilled their duty to serve the community and make sure that every event is not only memorable but also safe for everyone through professionalism, readiness, and compassion.

𝙍𝘾𝙔 𝙇𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 𝙐𝙥 𝙃𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙖 𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙖𝙣 `26 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙁𝙪𝙣, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣!

Red Cross Youth SANHS proudly took part in Hiraya ng Kabataan on February 24, 2026 with hearts ready to serve. From the early morning setup to the final moments of the event, every member gave their best. We carried out every task with focus, patience, and teamwork. The long hours, shared laughter, and small challenges we overcame made the experience unforgettable. It was not just about showing up, but about giving our all and showing what RCY is truly made of.

This milestone would not be complete without recognizing Carl Fernandez, our Club Icon, who represented RCY with confidence and pride. He did not just represent the club’s name. He showed true leadership, courage, and the values that RCY stands for. Through his actions, everyone saw the heart of a Red Cross Youth member who is capable and compassionate.

What made this event unforgettable was not the recognition or the applause, but the way we came together as a team. Every task we shared and every moment we helped one another showed the true meaning of service. RCY stands strong not because of titles or awards, but because of the passion, effort, and unity we put into everything we do. Hiraya was just a one day event, yet the lessons, the teamwork, and the spirit we showed will stay with us always.

The RCY volunteers just celebrated our RCY Fiesta at the University of the Immaculate Conception, where volunteers from various schools and universities gathered as one RCY family. We had the opportunity to connect, share creativeness, and build camaraderie with the ADdU CRCY, ADdU SPRCY, UIC SRCY and with fellow youth volunteers from different schools.

We engaged in different felicitous activities that fosters a sense of sportsmanship, togetherness, and camaraderie.

Ares is our council name, we learned to connect and shape friendships with other schools. We also discovered the true essence of teamwork, unity, and volunteerism— exemplifying that even in friendly competition, the spirit of sincere service and compassion shines brightest.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 || An Earthquake with the magnitude of 7.4 struck Davao City and affected Sta. Ana National High School at around 9:45 am on October 10, 2025.

All students, staff, and faculty, evacuated to the designated area. A few students were rushed to triage due to minor injuries and shock caused by the earthquake, but were immediately assisted by the SANHS-Red Cross Youth and a few other volunteers.

After a thorough inspection, all students were sent home after the City Government declared immediate suspension across all levels.

𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀!

On September 11, 2025, at 4:00 PM, the Red Cross Youth of SANHS joined the school-wide Earthquake Drill to strengthen disaster awareness, preparedness, and safety.

At the alarm, students, teachers, and staff promptly followed protocols—executing “Drop, Cover, and Hold,” then evacuating in an orderly manner. This unity showed that when it comes to safety, we move as one.

Together, let's continue to build a community that values safety, fosters resilience, and remains prepared for whatever challenges may come.
