Throughout the event, our members actively participated in various activities that strengthened their teamwork, knowledge, and commitment to service. More importantly, they learned more about the importance of blood donation and how a single act of generosity can help save countless lives.

Every game had a purpose, and every challenge strengthened our bond. βοΈβ€οΈ
On July 16, 2026, members participated in an engaging team-building session filled with interactive games that strengthened communication, teamwork, trust, leadership, cooperation, and problem-solving skills. Each activity encouraged us to collaborate, support one another, and appreciate the importance of every memberβs contribution in achieving a common goal.
While the activities were enjoyable, the activity reminded us that unity, respect, and collaboration are the foundation of effective leadership and meaningful service. As members of the Sakya Red Cross Youth and the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, we continue to grow as compassionate leaders, responsible volunteers, and dependable teammates, carrying the values and lessons we gained beyond Club Time and into our service to the school and the community.

In line with National Disaster Resilience Month 2026 (NDRM 2026) and this year's theme, βNaghahanda at Kumikilos Tungo sa Panatag na Bagong Pilipinas,β the Philippine Academy of Sakya (Davao), Inc., together with the Sakya Emergency Response Team (SERT) and the Sakya Red Cross Youth (SRCY), conducted a school-wide drill. This event highlights a strong commitment to fostering a culture of preparedness, collaboration, and resilience in the face of increasing disaster risks and the impacts of climate change.
During the school-wide earthquake drill, students, faculty, staff, and other personnel quickly responded with the necessary precautionary measures. Everyone remembered to drop, cover, and hold on under sturdy tables to protect their heads from falling objects. When the alarm stopped, everyone proceeded directly to the evacuation area. A check was then conducted through a headcount and warm body count, which was immediately reported to the information and reporting team.
Conducting these regular drills ensures that safety becomes second nature to every student and staff member before a real disaster strikes. Building a resilient campus requires practice so that panic is replaced with fast, organized, and life-saving actions. These protect the well-being of the community and make sure that the school remains prepared for any future emergencies.
