Still not sure what pre-med to choose?

At DMSFI, BS Biology students do not learn only from textbooks and laboratories. Through the program’s hospital internship, they step into real healthcare environments--observing patient care, understanding hospital operations, and seeing how biological concepts guide decisions that can improve and save lives.

From clinical departments and diagnostic services to pharmacy, nutrition, sanitation, and surgical care, every rotation strengthens their scientific foundation while developing discipline, empathy, teamwork, and a deeper appreciation of the realities of healthcare.

For aspiring physicians, the BS Biology Program of Davao Medical School Foundation, Inc. offers more than preparation for medical school. It also provides an early and meaningful glimpse into the profession they hope to pursue.

Build your foundation in Biology. Experience healthcare in action. Prepare for the journey to Medicine.

“This journey and dream was never just my own.”

For many students, graduation is more than the end of a program. It is the fulfillment of a shared dream carried by families, strengthened by sacrifice, and made possible through faith, resilience, and love.

In his valedictory speech, Eddie Jr. U. Montalbo, Class of 2026 Valedictorian and Summa Cum Laude of the BS Biology (Medical Track) Program, reminded his fellow graduates that success is never carried alone. Behind every diploma are parents who endured silently, teachers who guided patiently, friends who stayed through difficult days, and students who kept choosing to move forward even when the journey became heavy.

To the Class of 2026, may you always remember the path that brought you here. May your stories inspire others to keep going, to honor their beginnings, and to believe that every dream pursued with purpose can become a gift not only to oneself, but also to the people who made the journey possible.

Congratulations, Eddie, and congratulations to all graduates of the Class of 2026.
Your story is a reminder that with faith, integrity, respect, and excellence, every student can rise, serve, and inspire. 💛
