In honor of Womens Month, the Upper Masawang Elementary School celebrate the wisdom, strength and achievements of all women everywhere. We are committed to support gender equality and inspire the next generations in creating a better future.😊😊

𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐖𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐍'𝐒 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐇 𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍

The 2024 National Women’s Month Celebration (NWMC), kicks off last March 4 during the regular flag-raising ceremony, marking the beginning of a month-long celebration in honor of women.

Various activities are lined up for the Women’s Month
( “Kababaihan Festival”) the celebration includes , where wearing anything purple on all Fridays of March to signify support for gender equality and women’s empowerment. Performing the GAD-ZUMBA introduced last March 25-27, 2024 dancing to the music entitled “ISANG MILYONG BABAE ANG BABANGON”.

At the beginning of the NWMC, we join in taking a stand for equality and inclusivity by changing our profile picture to the 2024 NWMC Profile Frame with the caption , This hashtag inspires women and everyone (WE) to advocate for equality and inclusivity, ensuring that ALL, irrespective of gender, ability, status, or circumstances, receive due respect and rights. With our rallying banner , the commitment is to leave no one behind. Participants are encouraged to use this hashtag to not only share their dedication but also outline their plans of action in the pursuit of gender equality and the establishment of an inclusive society.

Upper Masawang ES - GAD Corner seeks to utilize all parts of an education system to transform stereotypes, attitudes, norms and practices by challenging power relations, rethinking gender norms and binaries, and raising critical consciousness about the root causes of inequality and systems of oppression.
