11 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐃𝐀𝐕𝐀𝐎. 💙

On September 7, 2015, the 𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐨 𝐏𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐧 began a journey that would grow alongside one of the city's most vibrant communities.

Eleven years later, the name still carries a story.

A story of people who came together, found friendship in service, learned to lead, and chose to give something back to the community they call home.

And perhaps there is something fitting about a Rotaract club rooted in 𝐃𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐨—right where people, stories, cultures, and everyday life constantly meet.

Because service does not always begin somewhere grand.

Sometimes, it begins 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞.

For eleven years, Rotaract Club of Downtown Davao Poblacion has been part of that story.

To every Rotaractor who helped shape the club, every leader who carried it forward, and every member who continues to show up:

𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 11𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲! 🎉

May the years ahead bring new faces, new stories, and an even greater reason to serve.

11 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧.
𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝.

✨ Service rooted in purpose. Leadership driven by heart.

President-elect Theona F. Aton proudly represented the Rotaract Club of Downtown Davao Poblacion at the Rotaract Leadership Learning Seminar (RLLS) held at Golden Palace Hotel, Tagum City, last May 1–3, 2026.

Centered on growth, learning, and leadership development, the seminar gathered incoming officers from various Rotaract clubs for meaningful General Plenary sessions that offered fresh perspectives on servant leadership, collaboration, and empowering fellow members to create sustainable impact within their communities.

The second night’s 𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐔𝐍𝐔𝐌𝐏𝐀: 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐓 𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐂𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐄𝐒 marked a significant milestone as newly elected district and club leaders formally pledged to uphold the mission and values of Rotaract. It was a solemn yet inspiring moment that symbolized the acceptance of a greater responsibility—to lead with authenticity, vision, and unwavering dedication to Service Above Self.

In the presence of fellow Rotaractors, Rotarians, and distinguished guests, the ceremony reflected the collective trust placed in these leaders and the shared aspiration of building stronger communities through purposeful action.

As a new Rotary year begins, may this oath serve as a reminder that true leadership goes beyond titles—it is reflected in one’s willingness to serve, inspire, and create positive change with compassion and purpose.

The Rotaract Club of Downtown Davao Poblacion moves forward inspired, prepared, and committed to turning vision into action as we continue creating lasting impact.
