The Master of Arts in Education in English Language Teaching (MAEdโELT) Program successfully conducted its First-Semester Student Orientation on August 22, 2026, at 6:00 PM via Zoom. The event brought together more than 40 masterโs students, marking the beginning of their academic journey in the program.
The orientation aimed to familiarize students with the program's foundations, academic framework, scholarship opportunities, policies, and program requirements. It also provided a comprehensive overview of the expectations and milestones that will guide students toward the successful completion of their doctoral studies.
Faculty members present during the orientation included Dr. Lovitos, Dr. Bombales, Dr. De-Loyola, and Dr. Ib-Ib together with the program coordinator, Dr. Torrevillas. They shared valuable insights on the program's vision, curriculum, research expectations, and support mechanisms available to students throughout their doctoral journey.
The orientation served as an important venue for fostering engagement between faculty and students, addressing concerns, and reinforcing the program's commitment to academic excellence, scholarly inquiry, and professional growth.
