Celebrating Excellence. Honoring Our Champion Alumnae.

The International Culinary Institute โ€“ LPU Davao proudly congratulates Chef Myra Rose Obrero and Chef Jan Claudine Isidor for winning the Bronze Award in the K1 โ€“ Filipino Cuisine Challenge (Team) during the 2026 Philippine Culinary Cup, one of the countryโ€™s most prestigious culinary competitions.

Chef Myra Rose Obrero, a former ICI LPU-Davao faculty member and an alumna of LPU Laguna, continues to exemplify professionalism, creativity, and excellence in the culinary arts.

Chef Jan Claudine Isidor, an ICI LPU-Davao First Batch Alumna and Class Valedictorian, once again proves that dedication, discipline, and passion are the foundations of success.

Competing against some of the countryโ€™s finest culinary professionals and institutions, they proudly showcased Filipino cuisine with skill, innovation, and heart, bringing honor not only to themselves but also to the institutions and organizations they represent.

who have officially arrived in Bangkok, Thailand for their 6-month internship training at the prestigious Blue Elephant Restaurant.

Founded by Chef Nooror Somany Steppe, the driving force behind Blue Elephantโ€™s success, the restaurant is globally recognized for promoting Thai Heritage Cuisine and culture. Blue Elephant Bangkok is a Michelin-recognized restaurant, frequently featured in the Michelin Guide as a Michelin-selected restaurant for its exceptional Royal Thai cuisine. As one of Thailandโ€™s most respected fine dining institutions, Blue Elephant continues to inspire culinary excellence around the world.

We are proud of our students for successfully passing the interview process and reaching this important milestone in their culinary journey.
