As of the 2nd Quarter of 2026, there is no official deadline announced by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) for discontinuing the use of the 2010-2024 paper banknotes featuring Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. and Corazon Aquino. These banknotes remain legal tender and may still be used for transactions until further notice.

The banknotes that no longer have monetary value are the older New Design Series (NDS), issued beginning in 1987. These were demonetized by the BSP in 2017.
