On August 28, 2026, FiMSS welcomed a new chapter through a meaningful virtual gathering via Google Meet! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ‘

The event provided an opportunity to look back on the achievements and financial statements of the previous term, receive valuable guidance and orientation from our Program Head and Adviser, and officially welcome our newly elected officers through their introduction and Oath-Taking Ceremony, led by FiMSS Adviser, Mr. Nash N. Reginio. โœจ๐Ÿ™Œ

The FiMSS Code and By-Laws were also presented under the leadership of our newly elected President, Giovanne Chan, reminding us of the responsibilities and values we share as an organization.

The Financial Management Students Society (FiMSS) successfully hosted its annual Kumustahan last March 7 via Google Meetโ€”an interactive platform designed to empower future financial leaders through meaningful discussions, networking, and valuable insights for personal and professional growth.

This yearโ€™s session featured an enlightening discussion on โ€œ๐…๐ข๐ง๐š๐ง๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐‘๐ž๐ ๐…๐ฅ๐š๐ ๐ฌ: ๐‹๐จ๐ฏ๐ž, ๐‹๐ข๐Ÿ๐ž, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐‹๐จ๐š๐ง๐ฌ" led by our esteemed resource speaker, Mr. Roland A. Rivera, a proud BSBA alumnus, business owner, and real estate broker. His expertise shed light on common financial pitfalls and the importance of making informed decisions in various aspects of life.

Beyond the discussion, Kumustahan 2025 fostered a supportive and inclusive space where students felt heard, valued, and encouraged to take charge of their academic journey and their financial future.

The Financial Management Studentsโ€™ Society (FiMSS) co-organized a learning session titled โ€œ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐ž๐ญ๐š๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ข๐œ๐ฒ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ญ๐ฌ ๐ˆ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐„๐ง๐ฏ๐ข๐ซ๐จ๐ง๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญโ€ held at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Mindanao Regional Office. Attended by 3rd-year BSBA-Financial Management students who are enrolled in Monetary Policy and Central Banking course last 29 October 2024, this event provided students with a comprehensive understanding of the critical role monetary policy plays in shaping business dynamics, economic stability, and the broader business landscape.

Students learned firsthand how monetary policy decisions ripple through financial markets, influencing growth and stability in the economy through the discussions of esteemed BSP bank officers Ms. Dorothy Joy A. Diaz and Ms. Maria Kathelina O. Paclibar.

This event was an exciting step forward for these aspiring finance professionals, underscoring the Universityโ€™s commitment to impactful, hands-on education that prepares students for dynamic business challenges.
