Today, Soledad R. Duterte National High School was honored to welcome our distinguished Division Technical Assistance Team as part of PAKIG-AMBIT (Assess – Monitor – Build-up – Implement – Tasking), an initiative of the Schools Division of Davao City under the leadership of Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Reynante Solitario.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Jeson Reyes, Education Program Specialist–Mathematics, for his valuable technical assistance to our Subject Heads and Curriculum Heads. His insightful discussions on addressing departmental challenges, developing integrative assessments, encouraging learners to actively participate in academic activities, strengthening partnerships with parents, and embracing emerging educational trends such as the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence have truly inspired us to continuously innovate and improve.

Our sincere appreciation also goes to Dr. Joan Galarion, Principal-in-Charge of Cluster 5, for observing classroom instruction and providing meaningful and constructive feedback to our teachers. Your guidance serves as a motivation for us to continuously enhance our teaching practices for the benefit of every learner.

We are equally grateful to Dr. Roberto Binag, Public Schools District Supervisor of Cluster 3, together with our very own Dr. Fortunato B. In anticipation of possible aftershocks and pending the completion of ongoing structural assessments, government offices in Davao City, including local government offices and national government agencies, shall adopt a work-from-home arrangement tomorrow, June 9, 2026, EXCEPT for offices providing safety and security, health, sanitation, traffic management, social services, and disaster and emergency response services.

The private sector is encouraged to adopt similar arrangements to ensure the welfare and safety of their employees.

Face-to-face classes at all levels in both public and private educational institutions shall remain suspended tomorrow, June 9, 2026, pending the completion of safety inspections.

Educational institutions are encouraged to adopt online or distance learning modalities to ensure the welfare and safety of their students and personnel.
