United in Purpose: BCSOM Holds Convocation, ACCESSMed Orientation, and SHIFA-BIMSA Gathering

On August 7, 2026, at 1:00 PM, the Brokenshire College School of Medicine community came together for an afternoon of faith, learning, and fellowship.

The Medicine Department held its Convocation at the Bp. Proculo Chapel, bringing together students and faculty in a meaningful gathering centered on faith, reflection, and our shared purpose in the medical profession.

Following the convocation, students participated in the ACCESSMed Orientation, introducing them to essential digital learning tools and resources that will support their academic journey in medical school.

Simultaneously, SHIFA-BIMSA was held for our Muslim brothers and sisters, providing a meaningful space for faith, fellowship, and community.

Through these gatherings, BCSOM continues to foster a community that values faith, inclusivity, collaboration, and holistic medical education. As we move forward in our journey, may we remain united in purpose and committed to becoming compassionate and competent future physicians. 💚🤍
