Let us take a brief moment to congratulate the outstanding student, Ehra Francine C. D***s, for being a Silver Medalist in the Mai Muay in Muay Thai competition at the Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges (RMMC) Basic Education Gymn held last October 27, 2025.

Not only that, let us also congratulate and recognize her coach, Allan Vergara, and assistant coach, Alan Taño.

Will proceed with their 2nd Mastery Examination on October 20-24, 2025 with the following time schedule:

• Grade 7&8 - 8:00 – 10:00 AM
• Grade 9&10 - 10:00 AM – 12:00 NN
• Senior High School - 1:00 – 3:00 PM

At this time, the DEPED and our school administrators order
NO large gatherings or big programs will be conducted to avoid any possible risks that may arise.

ANNOUNCEMENT!

In light of the recent earthquakes, we want to assure everyone that the safety and well-being of the entire LGSA community remain our utmost priority. Rest assured that the school is taking all necessary measures to ensure the protection of our students, faculty, and staff.
After careful deliberation and consultation, here are the class arrangements for this week:

• Preschool and Elementary will continue their Mastery Exams tomorrow, October 15, 2025. Parents and guardians are kindly requested to fetch their children immediately after they complete their exams.
However, starting October 16–17, 2025, classes will shift to online/modular learning.

• SPED, Junior High School, and Senior High School will shift to online/modular learning from October 15–17, 2025, and until further notice.
We sincerely thank everyone for your understanding, cooperation, and continued prayers during this time. Let us remain hopeful and united for the safety and well-being of all.

Official Advisory

We hope and pray that everyone remains safe and well following the recent earthquake and subsequent aftershocks.

After a thorough inspection conducted by our in-house safety officers, Lamb of God SPED Academy confirms that no visible damage has been observed in the school building. The findings have also been reviewed by our Engineers/Builders, who have verified that the premises are safe for occupancy. Accordingly, regular classes will resume with the following safety measures in place:
1. In the event of an earthquake, all students will be guided by their teachers through the Emergency Exit Doors and Hallways and will proceed directly to the designated assembly area.
2. All staff, teachers and students are advised to assemble in the designated open spaces inside and outside the school, which will remain open for safe passage.
3. Teachers are required to stay with their students in the assembly area at all times until the Security Team and Safety Officers officially declare the premises safe for re-entry.

We are thankful that our school is the only building situated within the area, with direct access to an open and secure assembly space. Please be assured that Lamb of God SPED Academy remains steadfast in upholding the highest standards of safety and preparedness for our students, staff, and school community.

ANNOUNCEMENT: SCHOOL SAFETY UPDATE & CLASS SUSPENSION

Following the recent earthquakes, our school building has been inspected by the proper authorities to assess its structural integrity. We are glad to inform everyone that the school has been declared safe for occupancy, and students may return to their classes.

However, due to the possibility of aftershocks and to allow for further precautionary checks, the City Government of Davao has declared the suspension of classes on Monday, October 13, 2025.

This measure is being taken to ensure the continued safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff.

Davao City Earthquake Update
As of 9:00 PM, October 10, 2025

To give way to the ongoing structural assessment of infrastructures and facilities, CLASSES IN ALL LEVELS, both public and private educational institutions in Davao City, are hereby SUSPENDED UNTIL MONDAY, October 13, 2025.

The City Engineer’s Office, in coordination with the Department of Education – Davao City, will continue to inspect and assess all public schools across the city over the weekend to ensure the safety of learners.

Meanwhile, the Office of the City Building Official (OCBO), in coordination with the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE), is currently conducting rapid structural assessments. The OCBO is prioritizing structures that were previously flagged for issues related to structural safety. OCBO urges all building owners to prioritize occupants’ safety, promptly carry out thorough structural evaluations of their facilities, and report any major defects discovered during or after the earthquake, to the appropriate authorities.
