Scouts Answered the Call of History

True to the Scout Oath and Law, the selected Scouts of Cabantian Stand Alone Senior High School stood ready and responded affirmatively to the formal invitation from the Office of the City Mayor of Davao for the 129th Anniversary of the Martyrdom of Dr. Jose Rizal, held on December 30, 2025, at 8:00 AM at Rizal Park, San Pedro Street, Davao City.

Wearing the Full Type A Scout Uniform, our Scouts took part in the solemn national commemoration, joining fellow members of the scouting community in honoring the life, sacrifices, and ideals of our national hero. Their participation reflected the true spirit of scouting: duty to God and country, service to others, and commitment to nation-building.

A huge commendation to our Scouts for their willingness to serve and for representing our school with discipline, respect, and pride. Their presence in this historic event was not merely ceremonial; it served as a living reminder that the values Dr. Jose Rizal stood for continued to guide the youth of today.

Our Scouts stood tall, vigilant, and united as the nation remembered a hero whose courage ignited the Filipino people’s enduring love for freedom.

The Cabantian Stand Alone Senior High School – Boy Scouts of the Philippines proudly joined the City Government of Davao in commemorating the 162nd Birth Anniversary of G*t Andres Bonifacio last November 30, 2025, held at the Andres Bonifacio Memorial Monument, Poblacion District.

Our scouts stood in honor of the Dakilang Supremo, a symbol of tapang, dangal, at malasakit sa bayan.
This meaningful event reminded us that every young Filipino can be a spark of courage and truth in today’s world.

Always prepared. Always for the nation.

Last November 13, the Senior Scouts of Cabantian Stand Alone Senior High School answered the call of service as they assisted the Cabantian Elementary School during its United Nations Celebration.

Guided by the official request letter from our partner school, our Senior Scouts fulfilled their duties with discipline, respect, and unwavering commitment, managing contingents, assisting teachers, and ensuring the smooth and safe flow of the program.

Their presence reflected the true spirit of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, leadership, preparedness, and community service.

CABANTIAN SENIOR SCOUTS SHINE IN COUNCIL SCOUT JAMBOREE 2025
BSP Camp Malagos, Davao City | October 24–29, 2025

With the Scout Oath and Law in their hearts, the Senior Scouts of Cabantian Stand Alone Senior High School proudly represented their institution during the Council Scout Jamboree 2025, held at BSP Camp Malagos, Baguio District, Davao City.

A total of 25 delegates, 22 Senior Scouts and 3 adult leaders, took part in the six-day camp that celebrated the spirit of brotherhood, adventure, and service.

The Jamboree opened with the Grand Parade and Opening Ceremonies, followed by days filled with learning and adventure through the Council Scout Jamboree Modules. Our Senior Scouts showcased their determination and teamwork by participating in Aquatics Fun and Skills, Fire Response and Control, and Air Navigation Challenge, activities that honed their survival, leadership, and problem-solving skills in real-life scenarios.

Demonstrating courage and preparedness, the Cabantian Senior Scouts also joined the First Aid and Rescue Olympics, where they applied their knowledge in emergency response and teamwork under pressure.

The highlight of the camp was the Grand Campfire, a night of cheers, songs, and reflections that strengthened bonds among Scouts from across Davao City. The week concluded with the Closing and Awarding Ceremonies, marking another chapter of achievement and unity in the Scouting journey.

Indeed, the Cabantian Senior Scouts lived out the true meaning of Scouting, ready to serve, ready to lead, and ready to make a difference.

In celebration of the 2025 Scouting Month, our Senior Scouts proudly participated in the JOTA–JOTI (Jamboree On The Air – Jamboree On The Internet) held at Davao Global Township, Matina, Davao City, organized by the Order of the Knights of Baden-Powell 1983 in coordination with the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, Davao City Council.

Through the event “The Scouting Horizon: Merit Badge Academy – Trail 2”, we connected, learned, and lived the spirit of Scouting: Service, Innovation, and Scouting for All!

Truly, it was a day of friendship, adventure, and learning as we met Scouts from different schools and shared our passion for helping others and making a difference.

ANNOUNCEMENT | BASIC LIFE SUPPORT TRAINING UPDATE

In light of the recent earthquake and in compliance with the advisory from DepEd Davao City Division implementing Modular, Asynchronous, or Blended Learning beginning October 15, 2025, the Basic Life Support (BLS) Training originally rescheduled for October 17–19, 2025 will be postponed until further notice.

This decision prioritizes the safety and well-being of all our Scouts, participants, and school personnel while the structural assessments and safety checks of classrooms are ongoing.

For those who wish to refund their registration fee, you may do so. We will keep you posted for the details regarding the refund process and the new training schedule once confirmed.

Let us continue to stay alert, safe, and prepared, true to the BSP spirit of service and readiness.

CSASHS Senior Scouts Answer the Call for Service!

In response to the “Tindog-Balik, Piapi” Call for Donations initiated by the BSP Davao City Council, our Senior Scouts gathered and delivered donations to help the fire-affected families in Piapi.

Despite the recent earthquake that also tested our city’s strength, the spirit of service, compassion, and unity continues to shine through our Scouts and students. Truly, “Once a Scout, Always a Scout.”

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all students, teachers, and parents who generously shared their blessings and supported this meaningful cause. Your kindness truly makes a difference.

In light of the recent earthquake, the Basic Life Support (BLS) Training has been postponed to ensure everyone’s safety and well-being.

But don’t worry! The training is rescheduled on October 17–19, giving you more time to prepare and get excited!

Let’s continue to embody the spirit of service and preparedness as we look forward to learning vital life-saving skills together.
