TURN DISPOSABLE PLASTIC WASTE INTO ECO BRICKS!

Take on the by filling up 1.5 plastic bottles with non-biodegradable trash such as straws, sachets, food wrappers, and the like.

Here are the simple steps on how to do it.

Step 1: Collect plastic bottles and non-biodegradable trash

We are also encouraging the whole MCM community to support our "MULTIPURPOSE TRASH BOTTLE" that will be designated in different areas inside the campus upon its implementation. Malayans can throw their small trashes inside the trash bottle.

The plastic bottles stuffed with plastic wastes will be used as ecobricks and will be donated to build house, school and other infrastructures in areas such as the Aeta Village in Yangil, as well as other communities in Baler, La Union, and Zambales.

Our goal is to provide a long lasting solution to plastic pollution by repurposing plastic waste.A plastic bottle stuffed with plastic wastes is called Ecobrick. This can be used as an alternative building material in constructing houses and other infrastructures.

We often underestimate the various problems a small plastic wrapper could create. Although it appears to be small but, it leads to different negative environmental impacts such as sea pollution. Thus, we should practice the proper disposal of plastic waste including those that comes in small forms such as candy wrappers, sachets, straws, food wrappers and the like.
