What a joyful and grace-filled day it has been!

Today, August 5, 2026, the Knights of the Altar Servers (KOTAS) had the privilege of sharing not just what our organization does, but who we are. Through genuine encounters, meaningful conversations, and simple giveaways, we welcomed every student who took the time to listen to our stories of faith, service, and brotherhood.

More than promoting a club, we shared a missionโ€”a mission to serve God with humility, joy, and excellence at His altar.

To everyone who visited our booth, asked questions, listened to our stories, and expressed interest in becoming part of our family, thank you! Your presence made this day truly meaningful.

To all our KOTAS members, thank you for your dedication, enthusiasm, and joyful witness. Together, we proved that the best invitation to serve is a heart that genuinely serves.

The gathering truly reflected the spirit of unity among altar servers in the Archdiocese. Through shared experiences, prayer, and participation in the different activities, the day strengthened the bond among young ministers dedicated to serving the Church.

With grateful hearts, the UIC Altar Servers thank the Archdiocese of Davao and the organizers for a successful convention that strengthened unity among altar servers. Truly, it was a day that reminded everyone that service at the altar is not only a ministryโ€”but a shared journey of faith.

The convention was filled with energy and camaraderie as altar servers participated in different activities and friendly competitions such as Quiz Bee, Basketball, Ping Pong, Chess, and other engaging events prepared for the day.
Beyond the competitions, the event became a beautiful reminder that serving at the altar also means growing together in friendship, discipline, and faith as one community of young servants of Christ.

A meaningful and joyful day unfolded as altar servers from across the Archdiocese of Davao gathered for the Altar Servers Convention held on February 28, 2026, at St. Francis Xavier College Seminary of Davao.
