The Davao City Division Team, in coordination with the City Government of Davao through the City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC), will conduct a Drug Awareness Campaign on August 25, 2026. In addition, the Philippine Air Force will facilitate a similar awareness campaign for Senior High School learners on the same date.

These initiatives are being accommodated to further strengthen the safety and security of the school campus through the promotion of awareness and education among learners. Through these collaborative efforts, students will be equipped with valuable knowledge on drug prevention, responsible decision-making, and community responsibility.

This partnership likewise supports the Dabawenyo DCplinado Program of the City Government of Davao, which promotes discipline, civic responsibility, and the overall well-being of the community.

Partnership Continues Amidst New Leadership

Ma’am Joan O. Micutuan, the newly installed School Principal I of Erico T. Nograles National High School, was warmly welcomed by the Barangay 37-D Council today, August 17, 2026, during her courtesy call to the barangay.

The meeting highlighted the importance of strengthening collaboration between the political and educational communities in delivering meaningful services and opportunities for learners and constituents. Through this act of proactive partnership, both sectors look forward to continually work together toward a safer, more supportive, and progressive community for the next generation.

Hon. Prime S. Atillo, Punong Barangay of Barangay 37-D, assured Ma’am Joan of the barangay council’s full support and cooperation as she assumes her leadership role at Erico T. Nograles National High School. She emphasized the commitment of the barangay to work hand in hand with the school in promoting the welfare and development of the community, especially the learners.

The two leaders, together with the members of the Barangay Council and the school’s Head Teachers, affirmed their shared commitment to stronger school-community partnership and collaborative leadership for the common good.
