Sure, weighing seems more like science class when you could be using pretty measuring cups but the truth is… it's just more accurate (plus, there is a lot less to clean up!).

Knife Care: Here’s how to keep your blades sharp.
Wash by Hand. Dishwashers are harsh on blades: Knives can hit other items or corrode from food or water. Wash them in warm soapy water, then dry and store.
No Scraping! After chopping, avoid scraping the blade across the cutting board to move ingredients. Use the blunt side of the knife instead.
Sharpen Regularly. Look for knife-sharpening services at specialty grocery or kitchenware stores. Dull knives do a sloppy job — and they’re dangerous, too.

Always remember this:
Grapes must ne crushed to make wine,
Diamonds form under pressure.
Olives are pressed to release oil.
Seeds grow in darkness.
Whenever you feel crushed, under pressure, pressed or in the darkness, you are in a powerful place of transformation.
Trust the process.

What a lovely fri-yay of parsley!
Did you know?
Like other herbs, parsley can be pureed into sauces and pestos and dips as well. Parsley is often added into dishes like pastas, sauces, salads, meat dishes, and vegetables. Parsley is frequently sprinkled on the top of finishes dishes for an extra punch of fresh herby flavor as well as appearance.

Call it ugly delicious because it’s not the typical machine cut , dark soy skin, but it’s intentional because we prefer farm raised pigs. Dare I say, our way of doing it!

We can be sustainable with how we live, eat, shop and consume but did you know even in the kitchen preparation we can make it a habit to utilize our own produce from our backyard, too? Yes sustainability is a topic close to my heart and one that reshaped my everyday choices.
