A new student has joined Paquibato National High School (PNHS), bringing with her a story of courage, adjustment, and excitement for a fresh start. ๐๐ง๐ง๐ข๐๐ ๐๐ข๐๐ง ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ฉ๐ข๐จ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ญ๐๐ฒ๐๐ง, a 17-year-old Grade 12 GAS student, previously studied at the Asian Institute of Computer Studies in Montalban, Rizal. She transferred to PNHS because of family circumstances and her familyโs decision to settle in Mabuhay, Davao City.โฃ
โฃ
Adjusting to a new school and environment was not easy for Annica. She shared that language differences and adapting to the learning environment were among the challenges she faced during her first few days at PNHS. However, these difficulties became easier to overcome because of the warm welcome she received from her classmates and teachers. According to Annica, the people of Paquibato made her feel accepted and comfortable, helping her adjust to her new surroundings.โฃ
โฃ
When asked about the biggest difference between her previous school and PNHS, Annica highlighted the people. She appreciated how her classmates and teachers adjusted the way they communicated with her. Their kindness and willingness to help made her feel at home despite being far from her former school and community.โฃ
โฃ
As she continues her journey at PNHS, Annica looks forward to learning the local language, building new friendships, and graduating with her classmates. She is also excited to meet more students and teachers and become an active member of the school community.โฃ
โฃ
Annicaโs story reminds us that transferring to a new school may bring challenges, but a welcoming and supportive environment can make the transition easier. Her experience shows how kindness, understanding, and acceptance can help every learner feel valued and at home in a new community.
