For the very first time, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government of Biao National High School proudly conducted the State of the Learner Government Address (SOLGA) 2026βa milestone that marks not just an event, but a movement of leadership, transparency, and service.
Under the visionary leadership of SSLG President Khejay C. Tolosa, the unwavering guidance of Adviser Mary Joy Q. Tutor, and the dedication of the SSLG officers for the School Year 2025β2026, this pioneering SOLGA showcased a year filled with accomplishments, service, and meaningful initiatives that shaped the student community.
The program began with the
attendance, facilitated by the Incoming SSLG Officers, warmly welcoming participants into this historic gathering. This was followed by an opening prayer led by Lianne Metante, grounding the event in faith, and the singing of the National Anthem, uniting everyone in patriotism.
To formally open the program, Mary Joy Q. Tutor, SSLG Adviser, delivered her Opening Remarks, setting the tone for a meaningful and reflective event. She also led the Introduction of SSLG Officers, recognizing the student leaders who served with dedication throughout the year.
At the heart of the program, SSLG President Khejay C. Tolosa delivered the State of the Learner Government Address Properβa powerful presentation of accomplishments, initiatives, and milestones that reflected the SSLGβs commitment to the student body.
Following the SOLGA, SSLG Treasurer Alphalyn Porgarillas presented the Financial Report, reinforcing the organizationβs commitment to transparency and accountability in all its undertakings.
A defining moment followed as Hon. Cecil P. Aguilar, Committee Chairperson on Education and SGC Chairperson, led the Oath-Taking of the Newly Elected SSLG Officers for S.Y. 2026β2027, symbolizing continuity in leadership and a renewed promise to serve.
The program concluded with Closing Remarks, Acknowledgements, and a Photo Opportunity, capturing a moment that will forever be remembered in Biao NHS history.
This remarkable event was graced by esteemed guests:
Hon. Cecil P. Aguilar, Committee Chairperson on Education;
Hon. Vannessa Joy A. Agonia, SK Chairperson of Biao Escuela;
Hon. Eric John Andrino, SK Chairperson of Matina Biao;
and Kathleen Grace C. Tolosa, SPTA President and Barangay Treasurerβ
together with teachers, classroom presidents, YES-O and BSP members, and both incoming and outgoing SSLG officers.
This was more than a program.
It was a celebration of achievements and a symbol of accountable leadership.
