Order of the Libertarians: Rizal Memorial Colleges Social Studies Society

The Order of the Libertarians had its first face-to-face seminar and workshop about the 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙞𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙧𝙚 with Mr. Chris David S. Demaro as the resource speaker last December 17, 2022, at the RMC New Building, Room 204.

After a comprehensive discussion on parliamentary procedure and its types of motions, the students have their simulation to practice parliamentary procedure and develop their skills in the parliamentary system.

Also, these students will now be equipped to apply parliamentary procedure in their future meetings in the organization.

𝙏𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙤𝙬 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙮!

The Order of the Libertarians will have its first face-to-face 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙞𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙎𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙥 on December 17, 2022, at 8 a.m. in the RMC New Building, Room 204.

The seminar and workshop will mainly focus on the fundamentals of the parliamentary system.

🖼️ 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐦𝐚𝐭 𝐛𝐲: Ms. Ronah Marie Maturan (Chief Adviser of the Order of the Libertarians )

The 𝐂𝐀𝐒/𝐄𝐝 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 2022 has now officially ended with such honor and pride amidst the changes of weather during the two-day celebration. The Order of Libertarians’ collaboration with Polsci and RKEE on 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠 𝗛𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗔 has won 1𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 in the CAS/Ed Festival 2022.

We congratulate the different events, one of which was the debate. The participant in the Order of the Libertarians is Jennieve De Asis, and from Polsci are Rica Dulliente, Ralph Mark Solomon, and Alden Lacay Torreon, who won second place in debate. Also, for the singing contest, in solo, the participant from the Libertarians won the championship, Keith Cañete, and for duet, the participant from the Libertarians was Henry Boy Gabijan, and Samantha Mari Rogas from RKEE won 1st place in the duet singing contest. In the Amazing Race contest, one of the participants from our organization was Joshua Alas-As, Keith Cañete, Kharezza Maureen Malabote, Chummy Mariz Protacio, and Kenneth Diaz, who along with the other RKEE participants won the championship.

For our Mr. and Mrs. CAS/Ed 2022, the participant in the Order of the Liberatarians is Keith Cañete, and in PolSci, it is Mia Servañes, who won 2nd Runner Up. With the help of the officers of the organization, especially Lesli Siano and John Ladroma, they made and conceptualized the creative attire for our participants in Mr. and Mrs. CAS/Ed 2022.

𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼 𝗗𝗮𝘆!

Andres Bonifacio is widely regarded as the founder of the Philippine Revolution against Spanish colonialism. In 1892, he and a along some others founded the “𝙆𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙥𝙪𝙣𝙖𝙣” movement. The Katipunan was a secret revolutionary society that revolted against the Spanish colonizers.

Today is the 159th Bonifacio Day, also known as “𝘼𝙧𝙖𝙬 𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙣 𝙣𝙞 𝘽𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙤” in the Philippines. We, the Order of the Liberatarians, join together to celebrate this day in honor of our Supremo and the Father of Katipunan, 𝘼𝙣𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝘽𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙤!

𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗢𝗘𝗦 𝗗𝗔𝗬!

In this month, 126 years ago, the first act of defiance against the Spanish colonizers took place, also known as the “Sigaw ng Pugadlawin”. This was seen as the fan of the flames of the Philippines’ revolution and movement toward foreign independence. In this day, we celebrate National Heroes Day. It is the day we commemorate and honor the sacrifices made by those who lost their lives in pursuit of national freedom.

We also give our appreciation to those modern Filipinos we consider “𝓑𝓪𝓰𝓸𝓷𝓰 𝓑𝓪𝔂𝓪𝓷𝓲”. May we never forget that the freedom we enjoy has cost the blood of many Filipinos who were selfless enough to give their lives for the country and their fellow countrymen. Most importantly, may we always do whatever it takes, even in our smallest ways, to always fight for our precious freedom.

The Order of the Libertarians stands in solidarity with every Filipino who remembers our dear national heroes’ valiant acts.

The LIBERTARIANS celebrated its Virtual Solidarity Day with the theme "Overcoming Challenges, Building Our Future Together" to celebrate success, camaraderie, academic leadership, and excellence. The objective of holding the activity is to strengthen solidarity in the face of adversity, celebrate success, and foster a better relationship between social studies students and teachers.

This solidarity event has strengthened each member of the society to always foster and aspire for academic and leadership excellence, camaraderie, and promote better understanding and fellowship among students, as well as to safeguard and defend their best interests, individually and collectively.
