To safeguard the welfare of all students due to the recent twin tremors and its aftershocks, DepEd Davao City Division will implement MODULAR, AND ASYNCHRONOUS or BLENDED LEARNING starting tomorrow, October 15, 2025 until further notice.

Teaching personnel are not required to report onsite, while non-teaching personnel shall continue to report to ensure the continuity of essential school operations.

Teachers are also directed to monitor the conduct of blended learning, ensure the continuity of learning activities, and provide necessary learner support.

Let us remain vigilant and prioritize our safety while continuing our pursuit of learning.

Last September 4, 2025, the students of Waan National High School joyfully celebrated the kick-off of Teachers’ Day right inside their classrooms. 💐 Each class prepared simple yet heartfelt surprises to show their love, care, and gratitude to their advisers. 🥰 It was a day filled with smiles, appreciation, and the spirit of honoring our teachers who guide us every step of the way. 📚❤️

Buwan ng Wika 2025

Isang matagumpay na naisagawa ang Pulong ng Magulang at G**o at Pangkalahatang Asembleya kahapon ika-29 ng Agosto 2025 sa paaralan ng Waan National High School na nagpatibay sa ugnayan ng mga magulang at g**o para sa ikabubuti ng ating mga mag-aaral.

Maraming salamat sa ating mga magulang sa kanilang buong suporta sa Pulong ng Magulang at G**o at Pangkalahatang Asembleya.

“Sa wika nagkakaisa, sa kultura nagiging makulay ang bayan.”

Isang matagumpay na kulminasyon ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2025 na idinaos sa pambansang paaralan ng Waan National High School na ginanap kahapon ika-28 ng Agosto 2025 sa bulwagan na may temang “Paglinang sa Filipino at Katutubong Wika: Makasaysayan sa Pagkakaisa ng Bansa.”.🎉

The last day of the Cluster SSLG Leadership Training was all about celebration and goodbyes. 🎉 After days of learning, bonding, and growing together, certificates were awarded to all SSLG participants and teachers in recognition of their dedication and commitment to lead with purpose. 🏅✨

This training wasn’t just about gaining knowledge—it was about empowering us as student leaders, strengthening friendships, and inspiring us to serve with heart. ❤️ Our Waan NHS SSLG family learned so much from this journey, and we are proud to bring these lessons back to our school and community.

Big salute to all participants, and especially to our Waan NHS family, for making Day 3 a meaningful ending to an unforgettable leadership training! 👏🔥
