We are inviting you to the First Session of EconTutorials, a focused learning/tutorial session designed to strengthen students’ foundational knowledge and practical understanding of statistics and data analysis.

EconTutorials is open to Business Economics students and all students under the College of Business Administration and Education (CBAE) who are interested in learning and developing essential skills in statistics and data analysis.

𝗕𝗘 𝗟𝗜𝗧 | 𝗢𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚

Not every opportunity has to be big, to be worth taking, There are moments when we find ourselves waiting for the bigger opportunity. The bigger role, the bigger chance that feels worthy of our time and effort. But sometimes, while looking ahead, we fail to notice the small opportunity standing right in front of us.

A simple invitation.
A small responsibility.
A chance to try something new.

It may not look like much at first. But perhaps that small opportunity is not meant to be the destination, but rather just the first step.

This reflection was inspired by a story shared by the former UMBEST President about his own journey. His experience reminded us that the opportunities we encounter along the way, no matter how small, can become stepping stones toward the things we hope to achieve.

You never know which small opportunity might lead you somewhere bigger. ✨

At hindi lang presyo ang nakaka-influence sa decisions natin! Pati narin ang Culture, Social Factors, Personal Preferences, Psychology, and Economic Situation can all affect what, when, and why we buy.

kaya always remember na, even small choices, creates a big impact.
Every purchase tells a story about how we think, choose, and consume.

Part. 2 | Reflecting on the success of the Business Economics General Assembly 2026!✨

The event was filled with energy throughout the afternoon. Raffle draws were scattered across the program, the 3rd-year students delivered an impressive performance, and open mic sessions and games allowed students to interact with one another, bringing big smiles and laughs to everyone in attendance. The new UM-BEST President Harold S. Makiling concluded the assembly with closing remarks that inspired all the BE students, and affirmed the keynote speaker’s message to broaden horizons for the upcoming school year.

Thank you to everyone who attended and made BEGA 2026 a resounding success! Here is to a productive and united academic year ahead.
