Nakiisa ang Leon Garcia Sr. National High School sa Ikalawang Kwarter ng Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) ngayong Hunyo 18, 2026 sa ganap na ika-9:00 ng umaga bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pagpapaigting ng kahandaan at kaligtasan ng buong komunidad ng paaralan.

CLASS RESUMPTION

After the completion of inspections and the issuance of the necessary safety clearance by the concerned authorities, face-to-face classes at all levels will resume on June 11, 2026.

The safety and well-being of our learners, teachers and personnel remain our top priority. Following a thorough review and deliberation of inspection findings, school facilities have been deemed safe for the conduct of regular classes.

In line with the latest Earthquake Update issued by the City Government of Davao, face-to-face classes at all levels remain suspended tomorrow, June 9, 2026, pending the completion of safety inspections and structural assessments.

Students, parents, and guardians are advised to monitor official school communication channels for further announcements regarding alternative learning arrangements and other updates.

Everyone is encouraged to remain alert for possible aftershocks and to follow all safety advisories issued by the authorities.

Alam mo ba ang dapat gawin kapag lumilindol? Ang tamang kaalaman at mabilis na pag-aksyon ay makatutulong upang mailigtas ang ating sarili at ang iba.

Tandaan ang “DUCK, COVER, and HOLD” at manatiling kalmado sa oras ng lindol. Makinig sa mga g**o at sundin ang mga itinakdang safety protocols at evacuation procedures.

Ang kahandaan ay susi sa kaligtasan. Maging alerto, maging responsable, at laging unahin ang kaligtasan ng bawat isa.

Due to the recent earthquake experienced in Davao City, classes at all levels, both public and private institutions, and work in all local and national government offices within the city are hereby suspended effective immediately, today, June 8, 2026.

Day 3 of Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Leon Garcia Sr. National High School was strengthened by the valuable support of its partners and stakeholders. The Philippine Coast Guard participated in the school's clean-up activities, while BDO Network Bank and MEMBA generously donated paint to support the beautification and improvement of school facilities. The Davao Lady Eagles Club also donated school supplies for learners. These contributions continue to enhance the school's readiness for the opening of classes and reflect a strong commitment to supporting education and learner welfare.
