𝙎𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙧 𝙍𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙙𝙤 𝙨𝙖 𝙁. 𝘽𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙚; 𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙩-𝙗𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙝𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙣

Subay sa adbokasiya sa Department of Education (DepEd) nga “No learner left behind,” ipatuman sa Francisco Bustamante National High School (FBNHS) ang Summer Remediation Program (SRP) 2026 alang sa incoming Grades 7 hangtod 11 aron matabangan ang mga Bustamanians nga maandam sa sunod nga school year, karong ika-6 sa Mayo hangtod ika-2 sa Hunyo.

Tumong sa programa ang pagpalig-on sa key competencies ug paghatag ug dugang suporta sa mga estudyanteng nanginahanglan og academic intervention. Apil sa mga kinahanglan og remediation ang mga:

- adunay duha (2) ka subjects nga 74 paubos ang grado; ug
- incoming Grade 12 students na naay ubos ang performance sa English Ug Mathematics (Frustration level in English or Not proficient/ low proficient level in Mathematics).

Lakip sa mga program na pwede nilang apilan sa SRP ang:

- ARAL Summer Program nga nagatutok sa reading ug foundational skills alang sa Grade 7–Grade 11 learners, aron mapalig-on ang ilang basic literacy ug comprehension skills ug matabangan sila nga mas maandam sa sunod nga academic level.
- Summer Academic Remedial Program (SARP) para sa mga estudyanteng nakabagsak og usa o duha ka subjects aron matabangan silang makabawi ug makumpleto ang required competencies; ug
- Senior High School Remediation Program (SHSRP) para sa incoming Grade 12 students nga nagpakita og kalisod sa English (Frustration level) ug Mathematics (Not proficient/ low proficient level) aron mapalig-on ang ilang kahanas ug mas mapreparar sila sa mga academic demands sa Senior High School.

Sa mga naingon nga mga estudyante, mamahimong inyuhang i-contact inyuhang previous class adviser o mu-duol sa F. Bustamante NHS Admin Office alang sa dugang nga mga pangutana.

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of F. Bustamante National High School proudly embarks on a meaningful journey as we take part in the Leadership Enhancement and Development (LEAD) National Youth Forum.

Through this experience, our student leaders are given the opportunity to expand their perspectives, strengthen their capabilities, and deepen their sense of responsibility—preparing us to lead with integrity, purpose, and excellence. It demonstrates that leadership is not simply gained, but continuously developed through learning, dedication, and genuine service.

Alongside fellow youth leaders across Region XI, we stand as one in our commitment to growth, collaboration, and impactful leadership. Guided by accountability and good governance, we remain committed to initiating positive change and making a lasting difference within our school and community.

A statement from our newly elected SSLG President, Jewel Venice Lafuente.

Leadership is more than a title—it is a commitment to 𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒆, 𝒂 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒕𝒐 𝒂𝒄𝒕, and a promise to represent every learner with 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒈𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒑𝒖𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒆. On February 18, 2026, a new chapter in student leadership was officially proclaimed as the newly elected SSLG officers of FBNHS were announced—marking the beginning of a journey shaped by service, responsibility, and purpose.

From 𝗬𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗮 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻, former SSLG President for S.Y. 2025–2026, to 𝗝𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗹 𝗟𝗮𝗳𝘂𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲, current SSLG President for S.Y. 2026–2027, the DNA of leadership lives on. What was once led with passion, dedication, and integrity continues to grow—carried forward by a new leader shaped by the very same values.

On March 5, 2026, during the Cluster 13 SSLG Election hosted by FBNHS, this transition extended beyond the school—reflecting a shared commitment to leadership among student leaders.

From 𝗬𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗮 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻, 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟯 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 for S.Y. 2025–2026, to 𝗝𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗹 𝗟𝗮𝗳𝘂𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲, newly elected 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟯 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 for S.Y. 2026–2027, leadership is not only passed on—but strengthened, redefined, and carried forward with purpose.

This transition is more than a change in leadership—it is a legacy in motion. The principles upheld by 𝗬𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗮 do not end with her term; instead, they evolve through 𝗝𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗹, forming a continuous strand that connects past, present, and future.

Through them, leadership becomes a story of continuity—growing stronger, shining brighter, and ready to shape what lies ahead. ✨

On March 4, 2026, the officers of the 𝙁. 𝘽𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙚 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 SSLG officially took their oath of office, marking the beginning of a journey dedicated to service, leadership, and the empowerment of students across the cluster.

With hearts committed to integrity, collaboration, and purpose, these young leaders embrace the responsibility to guide, inspire, and represent the voices of their fellow learners.

February 27, 2026, we officially concluded our 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺—a day full of learning, inspiration, and hope. Representatives from each section confidently showcased different career paths through their chosen attires, reflecting the unique dreams and goals of every class. Each presentation reminded us that every student has a bright future to pursue with courage and determination. ☘️

Beyond the presentations and discussions, this program reminded us that career choices are not just decisions, but steps toward growth and self-discovery. It encouraged every student to recognize their strengths, explore opportunities, and move closer to the person they aspire to become. The field became more than just a venue, it became a space where dreams were recognized and futures began to take shape.
