We started the day with a short program, led by the School Head Rowena M. Cernal joined by the teachers, and parents. We stand united under the theme: “Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman.”

🧹 Cleaning of Classrooms Begins!
Right after the program, everyone jumped into action! Volunteers cleaned, swept, scrubbed, repaired chairs, and arranged our classrooms—making them fresh, safe, and ready for the opening of classes.

May 29, 2026 — Babak Elementary School officially conducted a rekorida or public announcement campaign today to reach out to all parents, guardians, and residents of the community regarding the upcoming launch of Brigada Eskwela 2026 and the opening of school enrolment for the incoming academic year.

This information drive was carried out to ensure that every family is well-informed and prepared as the school opens its doors for the annual school maintenance week and registration period. Through the rekorida, school officials and staff went around the barangay to clearly announce that this year’s Brigada Eskwela will officially begin on June 1, 2026, Monday, and will run from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Babak Elementary School grounds.

Following the national theme: “Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman”, this year’s activity calls for the spirit of unity, cooperation, and volunteerism among teachers, parents, alumni, community leaders, and stakeholders. Everyone is encouraged to take part in cleaning, repairing, and beautifying school facilities to create a safe, clean, and conducive learning space for all learners.

Together with the kick-off activity, enrolment for incoming and returning students will also officially start on the same day. Parents and guardians are advised to bring their children and submit the necessary requirements to secure their slots for the coming school year. Early registration is highly encouraged to ensure smooth processing and proper class assignments before classes formally open.

School authorities expressed their gratitude in advance for the continued support and cooperation of the community, emphasizing that education is a shared responsibility. By working hand-in-hand, Babak Elementary School aims to start the school year strong, organized, and ready to provide quality education for every child.

7th Completion Ceremony / Moving Up / and Recognition Day🎓

Babak Elementary School celebrated its 7th Completion Ceremony, Moving Up, and Recognition Day on March 30, 2026 at the school event hall with the theme, "Filipino Graduates: Prepared to Lead with Competence and Character."✨

The occasion brought together the School Headl, teaching and non-teaching staff, proud parents, and honored visitors, all gathered to celebrate the achievements of the learners. The event highlighted the students' dedication, resilience, and development throughout the school year.🎓

Among the memorable moments were the formal recognition of the completers and movers-up, a stirring message delivered by the guest speaker, and the distribution of medals and certificates to learners who stood out for their academic performance, leadership qualities, and good conduct.✨

More than a celebration of academic progress in the elementary level, the day served as a meaningful send-off for learners stepping into new beginnings and greater challenges ahead.❣️

Gratitude is extended to the dedicated parents, faculty and staff, the Parents-Teachers Association, and the local government unit, whose unwavering support and teamwork made the event a resounding success.✨

JANUARY 28, 2026 | The Department of Education (DepEd) Central Office has turned over 225 sets of steel students' chairs and tables to Babak Elementary School.

The delivery, which also included five sets of steel teachers' tables and chairs, aims to address the school's shortage of classroom furniture. The new steel fixtures are expected to provide durable and long-lasting seating and writing surfaces for both learners and faculty members.

The initiative reflects the DepEd's commitment to upgrading learning environments in public schools across the country, ensuring that students and teachers have access to quality and resilient school facilities.
