[𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗] The Malacañang Palace declares Friday, August 19, 2022, a special non-working holiday in the City of Davao in celebration of Indigenous Peoples Day in relation to the Kadayawan Festival.

The Palace also enjoins the people of Davao to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies- subject to the public health measures of the national government.

This year's Kadayawan would be the first large festival in the country to have a face-to-face celebration since the pandemic.
