𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤 ||⛑️

On July 22–24, 2026, the Emergency Response and Disaster Operations Management Training was conducted at the Sky Gymnasium of Holy Cross College of Calinan, Inc. The activity was organized by the Occupational Safety and Health Committee in collaboration with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Calinan Fire Station, with the active participation of ROTC Officers and Saver's Club members. The training was designed to strengthen participants’ emergency response capabilities, disaster preparedness, and confidence in handling various emergency situations.

The three-day training aimed to equip participants with essential life-saving knowledge and practical rescue techniques. On the first day, participants received comprehensive instruction on Basic Life Support (CPR) and Fire Fighting, enabling them to respond effectively to cardiac and fire-related emergencies. The second day focused on First Aid and Bandaging as well as Lifts and Carries, providing hands-on experience in administering immediate care and safely transporting injured individuals while promoting teamwork, discipline, and proper coordination.

The final day featured emergency simulation exercises and team-based fire-fighting challenges, allowing participants to apply the knowledge and skills they had gained throughout the training. Demonstrating teamwork, competence, and dedication, the Saver's Club – College Department earned the First Runner-Up award. The successful completion of the activity reflected the institution's commitment to developing responsible, prepared, and service-oriented student leaders capable of responding effectively during emergencies and disasters.

Holy Cross College of Calinan, Inc. invites students, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, and community members to take part in the Blood Donation Drive on January 30, 2026, from 6:30 AM –12:00 PM. This life-saving initiative aims to provide assistance to patients in need and foster a culture of compassion and service. One blood donation can save up to three lives—your simple act of kindness can become someone’s lifeline today.

Donor Requirements:
• 18–65 years old
• At least 50 kg in weight
• Physically healthy and feeling well
• Well-rested and has eaten prior to donation
• With a valid ID

Community members are kindly reminded to observe the school’s proper dress code upon entering the school premises. Wearing appropriate attire helps maintain a respectful and orderly environment during the activity.

𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤 ||⛑️

On December 12, 2025, a Tree Planting and Gift Giving Activity was conducted by the Saver's Club at Purok Panigan in Barangay Tawan-Tawan, Baguio District, Davao City. This initiative was implemented in partnership with the Civil Welfare Training Service (CWTS), the Skyscrapers' Division, and the Reserve Officers Training Corps Unit (ROTCU) of Holy Cross College of Calinan, Inc. The event was overseen by Mr. Francis O. Tadtad, NSTP Coordinator.

The primary objective of this activity was to enhance environmental awareness and promote sustainable practices among the youth. Volunteers were also provided with essential resources that would aid them in the protection and preservation of the environment. Active participation in the planting of new tree seedlings was encouraged, thereby underscoring a shared commitment to environmental stewardship.

Moreover, this undertaking facilitated the demonstration of unity and collaboration among officers, student leaders, and volunteers, thereby fostering a sense of community and collective effort towards a common goal of environmental conservation.

The training session was led by Sgt Shyzl B Singco PA (Res), who served as the guest speaker.

Furthermore, this program offers a valuable opportunity for participants to learn and engage in training sessions that can assist them in managing emergencies in their daily lives.
