𝗗𝗜𝗥𝗧𝗬 𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗦, 𝗣𝗨𝗥𝗘 𝗣𝗨𝗥𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗘: 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗣 𝗨𝗣🌱

𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗢 𝗟. 𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗣𝗔𝗟𝗔 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟 — August 12, 2026.— Sometimes, leadership is not about standing in front—it is about stepping forward and being willing to serve.

The Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) of Porferio L. Antipala National High School, together with the SSLG Officers, joined forces for a canal clean-up drive around the school premises on August 12.

The activity was led by Sir Jim Alberca, BSP coordinator, who guided the scouts and student leaders as they worked together to remove waste and maintain the cleanliness of the school surroundings.

Throughout the activity, all the boy scouts the SSLG officer gave their best proving that meaningful service begins with the willingness to take action.

“𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.”— 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗝𝗶𝗺 𝗔𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗮, 𝗕𝗦𝗣 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿

Joining the effort was Princess Zilfa Empit, SSLG President, who worked alongside her fellow officers and BSP members throughout the clean-up drive.

For the SSLG President, the activity showed that student leaders can inspire others not simply by giving instructions, but by becoming examples through their own actions.

More than a clean-up drive, the activity became a reflection of leadership, teamwork, discipline, and service. The BSP and SSLG officers showed that making a difference does not always require something extraordinary. Sometimes, it begins with simply choosing to help.

With their hands at work and their hearts committed to service, the student leaders of PLANHS proved that true leadership is not measured by position, but by the willingness to serve others.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 🛡️

Porferio L. Antipala National High School held an Anti-Drug Awareness and Child Protection Seminar on August 8, 2026, in partnership with the Barangay Council, bringing together parents, teachers, learners, and community members in a shared commitment to safeguarding children and promoting a safer environment.

The seminar provided an avenue for participants to gain valuable knowledge on child protection, children’s rights, and the importance of preventing harmful influences that may put young people at risk. Speakers also shared relevant information and practical reminders to help parents, teachers, and community members become more aware of their roles and responsibilities in protecting children.

Through the active participation of the Barangay Council, parents, teachers, and learners , the activity highlighted an important message: protecting children is not the responsibility of one person or institution alone—it is a collective effort that begins with awareness, cooperation, and action.

Together, we continue to build a school and community where every child is heard, protected, respected, and given the opportunity to grow in a safe environment.

Sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026, matagumpay na nagsagawa ng isang masigla at makabuluhang paligsahan ang paaralan na nilahukan ng mga kinatawan mula sa bawat baitang, bilang pakikiisa sa temang "Wikang Filipino at AI, na naglalayong pag-ugnayin ang pambansang wika at makabagong teknolohiya."

Tampok sa programa ang "Guess the Answer" Challenge , kung saan sinubok ang kaalaman, bilis ng pag-iisip, at husay ng mga kalahok sa pagsagot sa iba't ibang tanong na may kaugnayan sa wikang Filipino. Ang unang kalahok na makapagbibigay ng tamang sagot ang nananatili sa laban at nagpapatuloy sa susunod na yugto, habang ang mga nahuhuli o hindi nakasasagot nang tama ay unti-unting natatanggal sa kompetisyon.

Sa pamamagitan ng gawaing ito, hindi lamang naipamalas ng mga mag-aaral ang kanilang talino at kumpiyansa, kundi higit ding nabigyang-diin ang kahalagahan ng paggamit at pagpapahalaga sa Wikang Filipino sa gitna ng patuloy na pag-unlad ng makabagong teknolohiya, kabilang ang Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Ang matagumpay na pagsasagawa ng naturang aktibidad ay naging patunay na nananatiling buhay ang diwa ng ating pambansang wika sa pamamagitan ng aktibong pakikilahok ng kabataan. Higit sa isang paligsahan, nagsilbi itong paalala na ang wika ay patuloy na nagsisilbing tulay ng pagkakaisa, kultura, at pagkatuto sa makabagong panahon.

They played with determination, trusted one another, and proved that teamwork always leads to victory. Every serve, every spike, and every point reflected their hard work and dedication.

Congratulations to our Girls' Volleyball Team for bringing home the CHAMPIONSHIP! Your passion, discipline, and fighting spirit made the entire school proud.

This victory is more than a trophy—it's a reminder that success comes to those who never give up.
