In solidarity with the global observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT) 2026, the BDCNHS Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) actively supports the worldwide campaign to prevent drug abuse and promote a safe, healthy, and drug-free school and community.

Guided by the objective of strengthening global action and cooperation toward achieving a world free from drug abuse, BDCNHS reaffirms its commitment to empowering learners through awareness, education, and meaningful youth engagement.

Theme: "World Drug Problem: Persisting Issues, New Challenges, Innovative Response."

Together, let us inspire informed choices, responsible citizenship, and collective action toward a safer, healthier, and drug-free future.

Today, we mark the closing of a meaningful chapter in our journey as members of Barkada Kontra Droga. Being part of this organization has allowed us to grow not only as leaders but also as responsible individuals committed to promoting a drug-free and positive community.

Throughout our time together, we have shared valuable experiences, strengthened our teamwork, and created memories that will always remain with us. Every activity and challenge has contributed to the person we are today, shaping us with discipline, dedication, and purpose.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our adviser Ma'am Sharon Basadre, and fellow talented and dedicated officers and members for their unwavering support and guidance. Your presence has made this journey truly memorable and worthwhile.

As we move forward to new beginnings, may we continue to carry the values and lessons we have learned from BKD. Though this is a farewell, the impact of this organization in our lives will never fade.

The Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) successfully conducted a Drug Awareness Symposium with a theme : Youth Empowerment and Unity a key to drug free community, kabataan, kaagapay sa pagbabago", giving students a meaningful opportunity to learn about the dangers of illegal drugs, the importance of a healthy lifestyle, and making responsible life choices.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our resource speakers from PDEA, our dedicated and supportive School Principal and Administration for sharing their expertise and guidance. Special thanks as well to our BKD officers, Technical Working Group, teachers, and students for their active participation and cooperation.

Together, we stand united in promoting a safe, healthy, and drug-free school community. πŸ’™βœ¨
