Voice of Empowerment | Message from the OIC Dean of JMCFI College of Information Technology Education in celebration of National Women’s Month.

"The true strength of women often lives in the quiet moments carrying responsibilities, dreams, and challenges with courage, even when the path is not always easy. In the world of leadership and the academe, being a woman often means standing firm through pressure, nurturing others while pursuing our own purpose, and continuing to rise with grace despite the weight of expectations.

Through every challenge, we grow stronger not only for ourselves but for the students we guide, the people we inspire, and the communities we serve. Our strength is not only in what we achieve, but in how we uplift others along the way.

This National Women's Month, I celebrate every woman who continues to lead with courage, resilience, and heart.

Happy Women’s Month to all the incredible women who continue to rise and make a difference in their own quiet yet powerful ways.”

Voice of Empowerment | Message from the Dean of Jose Maria College Foundation, Inc. - College of Nursing in celebration of National Women’s Month.

"As we mark National Women’s Month, we gather under one banner: “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society.” Our theme for this year’s National Women’s Month is a strong reminder that our journey towards equality and inclusivity is a journey we must take together, a journey that challenges every one of us to take action, to lead, and to rise together.

The sub-theme “Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas!” is our invitation to draw from our rich heritage. The Babaylans were esteemed women leaders in our history before colonial times, where women held influence and authority equal to men. Our history shows us that women’s leadership is not new. Women’s leadership is something that is embedded in who we are as a people.

We celebrate women who are strong, resilient in the face of adversity, steadfast in their convictions, and unbreakable in spirit. We honor women who are empowered — equipped with knowledge, uplifted by community, and driven by a vision of a just and equal society. And we applaud trailblazing women — fearlessly breaking barriers, challenging the status quo, and carving pathways for the generations that will follow.

In the academe, we recognize our vital role in advancing gender equality and building a more inclusive society. We commit to nurturing spaces where every woman’s voice is heard, where her potential is cultivated, and where her leadership is celebrated. Education is not only a right — it is the most powerful tool we can place in the hands of women.

As we honor every woman who creates, perseveres, leads, and loves — let us also renew our pledge to champion gender equality and an inclusive society, not just in celebration, but in every decision, every policy, and every act of kindness we extend to one another. The strength of our nation truly lives in the hands, hearts, and stories of its women.

To every woman who creates, perseveres, leads, and loves — this month is for you.
Mabuhay ang kababaihan! Happy Women's Month!”
