Our team got a chance to explore one of Sitio San Roque's centralized mills, led by of Kalsada Coffee. Resting on the mountains of Bukidnon lies the Stacy Wang Ramos Mill—a legacy built by the Ramos Family in honor of their daughter, to support Kalsada Coffee's cause. During our trip, we got a chance to learn more about their project in Bukidnon, from their crops down to their processing stations and equipments. We also got an opportunity to cup this year's harvest from Bukidnon as well as from T'boli—which was processed and led by of The Dream Coffee.

From educating local farmers, to centralizing processing procedures to ensure consistency and quality, down to connecting farmers to different markets, Kalsada takes pride in building a community-driven coffee industry. This built community between different people became a way for farmers and partners from diverse coffee regions to meet, highlighting collaboration over competetion.

Kalsada's rich history in Bukidnon is proof that great coffee isn't just grown. It is something thay is built together.
