OFFICIAL UPDATE: CLASSES WILL RESUME TOMORROW.

Please be informed that the previously announced implementation of blended learning on June 15, 2026 has been updated based on the latest advisory received by the school.

Following the official clearance received from the concerned authorities, face-to-face classes at Porferio L. Antipala National High School will resume tomorrow, June 15, 2026.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Porferio L. Antipala National High School will continue to implement the blended learning modality on June 11, 2026.

While the school has already undergone inspection by the City Engineer's Office, we are still awaiting the official clearance from the appropriate authorities regarding the safety of the school facilities for occupancy.

Further updates regarding the resumption of face-to-face classes will be posted on the school's official page and communicated through the respective class group chats by the advisers.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

In line with the recent earthquake, Porferio L. Antipala National High School informs all students and parents that the school is still awaiting inspection by the City Engineer's Office. As of this time, the school has not yet been declared safe for occupancy by the said authority.

Hence, blended modality will be implemented tomorrow, June 10, 2026.

We kindly ask everyone to wait for further announcements regarding the resumption of our face-to-face classes.

𝐎𝐧-𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰, 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

The City Government is working closely with the DepEd Davao City Division and CHED Region XI on the ongoing structural assessment of educational facilities.

Face-to-face classes at all levels in both public and private educational institutions MAY likewise resume tomorrow, June 10, 2026, PROVIDED that their respective institutions have completed the necessary structural assessments and have been declared safe for occupancy by the appropriate authorities.

Educational institutions that have not yet completed their assessments or have not yet been cleared for occupancy shall continue to adopt online or distance learning modalities until such time that their facilities are declared safe.

DepEd and CHED Region XI, together with their respective educational institutions, shall inform learners, parents, and personnel regarding the resumption schedule of face-to-face classes.

The City remains under BLUE ALERT status. All BDRRMCs, volunteer groups, and partner agencies are hereby advised to remain on standby, pre-position the necessary equipment and supplies, and submit situational reports to the Operations Center for consolidated monitoring and coordinated action.

Any changes or update shall be announced accordingly.

Porferio L. Antipala National High School officially opened School Year 2026 – 2027 with a flag ceremony attended by students, teachers and staff.

During the program, Ma'am Jeanne M. Baliad, Principal I, warmly welcomed the students with words of encouragement.

Junior High School and Senior High School teachers were also introduced. School rules and regulations were then discussed to help ensure a safe and orderly learning environment.

The opening ceremony marked the start of a new school year filled with learning and opportunities. Despite the unexpected earthquake after the flag ceremony, PLANHS remains resilient and committed to a safe and meaningful beginning of classes.

To formally kick off this year’s Brigada Eskwela, Porferio L. Antipala National High School conducted a motorcade around various areas of Barangay Talandang to inform residents and encourage their active participation in cleaning and preparing the school for the opening of classes.

The activity was joined by the school’s faculty and staff, SSLG officers, PTA and representatives from the School Governing Council (SGC), Barangay Talandang Council, Sangguniang Kabataan (SK), and the Karancho Community, showing a united commitment to supporting education.

DEPED, NAGDASIG SA JHS UG SHS GRADUATES NGA MOKUHA SA CIVIL SERVICE EXAM

Gimandoan ni DepEd secretary Sonny Angara ang mga opisina ug eskwelahan sa Department of Education nga suportahan ang mga kwalipikadong Junior ug Senior High School learners ug completers sa pag-apply alang sa Civil Service Examination sa Agosto 9.

Kini human giila sa Civil Service Commission ang K-12 completers isip kwalipikado alang sa first-level government positions.

Matud ni Angara, gusto sa DepEd nga makakita ang mga kabatan-onan og klarong oportunidad human sa ilang basic education ilabi na sa serbisyo publiko.

Ubos sa bag-ong polisiya, ang mga SHS graduates ug technical-vocational completers mahimong mahimong eligible sa pipila ka government positions kon makapasar sa exam ug makasunod sa ubang requirements.

Gimando usab sa DepEd ang mga eskwelahan nga motabang pinaagi sa paghatag og impormasyon, review sessions ug pag-andam sa mga estudyante alang sa CSE-PPT.

Ang aplikasyon alang sa exam magsugod gikan Mayo 14 hangtod Hunyo 10.

Porferio L. Antipala National High School announces the conduct of Oplan Balik Eskwela for School Year 2026 – 2027 from June 1 – 11, 2026.

All returning students, incoming Grade 7 and Grade 11 learners, transferees, and Balik-Aral learners are encouraged to enroll during the scheduled period.

The following requirements are needed for enrollment:

• SF9 (Report Card)
• Photocopy of PSA Birth Certificate
• Filled-out Enrollment Form
