A heartfelt thank you to Prof. Mark Jan N. Bergavera, CMHT, for leading a successful Psychological First Aid Training that has equipped our RMC psychology students with skills in providing empathetic and effective support during times of crisis.
We also extend our gratitude to Prof. Zedney B. Villados, RPsy, RPm, for sharing invaluable insights on the importance of creating safe, calming environments that foster resilience and hope. His emphasis on promoting safety, connectedness, and self-empowerment deeply enriched the training experience.
Our RMC psychology students gained invaluable skills in recognizing and supporting individuals in distress, learning how to Look, Listen, and Link with compassion and confidence. This training not only enhanced their knowledge but also built their self-efficacy to be mental health advocates in our communities.
Thank you to all participants and everyone who contributed to making this event a success!

As we near the end of ๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐น๐ฑ ๐ ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ต ๐๐ฎ๐, letโs be reminded that caring for our mental health is not just something we do once a year; it is something that deserves our attention every single day. ๐
This yearโs global theme, โ๐ผ๐๐๐๐จ๐จ ๐ฉ๐ค ๐๐๐ง๐ซ๐๐๐๐จ - ๐๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐๐ก ๐๐๐๐ก๐ฉ๐ ๐๐ฃ ๐พ๐๐ฉ๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ง๐ค๐ฅ๐๐๐จ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ข๐๐ง๐๐๐ฃ๐๐๐๐จ,โ reminds us that when the world around us is shaken, tending to our inner world is just as vital as rebuilding whatโs around us. ๐
The official observance may end in just a few hours, but

A Words of Appreciation to Mr. Zedney Villados, our Psychology Program Head
We, the RMC-JPS, are immensely proud beyond words and inspired without doubt. Congratulations on passing the 2025 Psychometric Licensure Examination, Sir Zed!
You're not just an exemplary professor who made every discussion as understandable as you can; you're also one of the people who made sure that we, psychies, experience the realities of being a mental health advocate.
Behind every success of our activities are the people who did their best to lift up our program. Your every hardwork reminds us that we also need to do our part as a student as we have a professor who always make sure we feel heard and valued.
Cheers to another success, Sir Zedney B. Villados, RPm, RPsy!
