𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐂𝐊 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍

Yesterday, June 8, 2026, a magnitude 7.8 earthquake, the strongest to hit the Philippines since 1990, struck off the coast of Sarangani, Mindanao. The devastation has been immense, and the communities closest to our hearts have been deeply affected.

Among the hardest-hit areas are Jose Abad Santos, Sarangani Province, and General Santos City, places where many of our ECOFI churches are rooted. As of this writing, at least 16 churches have been reported as fully damaged, and the number continues to rise.

Keith Williams Bible College | Faculty & Staff Development Day

Today was a gift.

The KWBC faculty and staff gathered for a day of learning, fellowship, and renewal, and we are deeply grateful for every moment.

We had the honor of learning from Dr. Jill Zwyghuizen, who brought our theme to life: "Diverse Cultural Learners: Enhancing Teaching Skills in the Classroom." As teachers, we are reminded that we are first and foremost students, and that learning is a lifelong journey.

We also celebrated a rare blessing as both our Sarangani and Davao campuses gathered around one table, rejoicing in God's goodness and faithfulness in our individual lives, our ministries, and our school.

With open hearts we listen to the feedback of our recently graduated students, which renewed our commitment to give our best for God's glory.

Above all, prayer held everything together. We cried out to the Lord, restored our united vision, and surrendered every petition to the One who called us here.

To God be the glory. 🙏

This milestone is a testament to his unwavering dedication — not only to the ministry, but also to the continuous pursuit of excellence in Christian education. May this achievement further equip and inspire him as he leads and shapes the academic life of Keith Williams Bible College.

Last year, Rev. Melfino completed his Master of Arts in Missions at Koinonia Theological Seminary Foundation Inc. — and this year, he has once again made us proud by earning his Master of Arts in Divinity, Major in Biblical Studies, from the same institution. 🙌

His commitment to lifelong learning and faithful service is a true inspiration to everyone in the KWBC community. May these achievements continue to bear fruit for the glory of God and the advancement of His Kingdom.
