ARAL Program Update | May 21, 2026
The ARAL session at Lower Tamugan National High School continued today with learners engaging in reading aloud activities using facial expressions and non-verbal cues while reading the story The Boy Who Cried Wolf.
Facilitated by Sir Jhon Sardido and Ma’am Marvie Dimpas, the activity encouraged learners to practice changing their voices to effectively portray the feelings and emotions of the characters in the story. Through expressive reading, learners were given the opportunity to enhance their reading fluency, comprehension, and confidence in oral reading.
The session also highlighted the importance of proper expression and body language in helping learners better understand and communicate the message of the text.
Through continuous guidance and meaningful learning experiences, LTNHS remains committed to developing confident and expressive readers.

ARAL Program Update| May 20, 2026
As part of the continuous literacy intervention efforts of Lower Tamugan National High School, learners participated in a 1:6 reading session facilitated by Sir Jhon Sardido. The activity focused on developing reading fluency, proper expression, and the use of non-verbal cues during oral reading.
To further enhance learners’ understanding of effective communication, sample videos about emotions and public speaking were presented to demonstrate appropriate facial expressions, gestures, and body language while reading.
Although most learners are still in the process of developing their reading skills, the session served as a meaningful step toward improving their fluency and confidence. Continuous practice and guidance remain essential in helping learners effectively express themselves while reading.
Through dedication and consistent intervention, LTNHS continues to uphold its commitment to nurturing confident and capable readers.

ARAL Program Update | May 18, 2026
Learners of Lower Tamugan National High School continue to improve their reading skills through the ongoing 1:8 and 1:1 Reading Sessions.
The group of eight learners practiced reading aloud with proper pacing, expression, and the use of non-verbal cues to help enhance fluency and build confidence in reading with Sir Jhon Sardido.
Meanwhile, one learner participated in a one-on-one reading session with Ma’am Marvie Tagpuno Borres-Dimpas to provide additional support in coping with lessons and strengthening reading comprehension.
Through patience, guidance, and continuous intervention, LTNHS remains committed to helping every learner become a better and more confident reader.

Look| LTNHS Received Rosco Paint for Brigada Eskwela 2026
In preparation for Brigada Eskwela 2026, Lower Tamugan National High School gratefully received three (3) cans of Rosco Paint through the generosity of Ma’am Denisa C. Edic, one of the school’s valued stakeholders, with the donation made possible through the endorsement of Ma’am Judy Paghunasan.
This meaningful donation will greatly help in improving and beautifying our school facilities as we continue to prepare a clean, safe, and welcoming learning environment for our learners.

Learning Through Fun and Creativity!
Learners of Lower Tamugan National High School actively participated in a “Build-a-Word” activity using prefixes, suffixes, and root words. Through this interactive activity, students combined word parts to create new words while enhancing their vocabulary and language skills in a fun and engaging way.
Facilitated by Sir Jhon Sardido, the activity promoted teamwork, critical thinking, and active participation, proving that learning becomes more meaningful when students enjoy the process.
