Sa isang tagpo ng puno ng emosyon, Habang ang mga mag-aaral ay nagbibigay ng pugay sa kanilang mga magulang isang estudyante ang napaluha habang nakatayo sa harap ng kanyang g**o isang simpleng sandali na naging larawan ng mas malalim na koneksyon na hinubog ng gabay at pagmamahal ng isang G**o.

Sa ginanap na pagtatapos sa Paradise Embac National High School, hindi lamang mga diploma ang ipinamahagi kundi pati na rin ang mga alaala at aral na mananatili habang-buhay. Sa unang larawan, makikita ang isang estudyanteng hindi mapigilang punasan ang kanyang mga luha, sumasalamin ito sa lahat ng hirap at sakripisyong kanyang pinagdaanan, mga pagsubok na napawi sa tulong ng matibay na motibasyon. Samantala, makikita rin ang isang g**o na nakaupo, simbolo ng pagmamalaki, isang makabuluhang patunay ng tagumpay sa pagtatapos ng kanyang mga mag-aaral. Malinaw na ang araw ng pagtatapos ay hindi lamang pagdiriwang para sa mga mag-aaral, maging sa matibay na ugnayang nabuo at ng g**ong buong pusong nag-alay ng oras, gabay, at pagmamalasakit.

"𝓨𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓰𝓪𝓻𝓭𝓮𝓷𝓮𝓻 𝔀𝓲𝓵𝓵 𝓪𝓵𝔀𝓪𝔂𝓼 𝓫𝓮 𝓹𝓻𝓸𝓾𝓭 𝓸𝓯 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓰𝓪𝓻𝓭𝓮𝓷 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓪𝓻𝓮 𝓫𝓮𝓬𝓸𝓶𝓲𝓷𝓰. 𝓢𝓸𝓪𝓻 𝓱𝓲𝓰𝓱!" pahayag ni G.Kim, na tumatak sa puso ng kanyang mga mag-aaral ng Grade 12 – Oxford.

Ayon kay Wellialyn O. Corea, itinuturing nila ang kanilang g**o bilang higit pa sa isang adviser sapagkat, nagsisilbi rin itong pangalawang magulang na nagturo hindi lamang ng aralin kundi pati ng mahahalagang pagpapahalaga sa buhay. “𝓑𝓲𝓼𝓪𝓷 𝓾𝓷𝓼𝓪 𝓹𝓪 𝓴𝓪𝓭𝓪𝓴𝓸 𝓪𝓷𝓰 𝓹𝓻𝓸𝓫𝓵𝓮𝓶𝓪, 𝓱𝓲𝓷𝓪𝔂-𝓱𝓲𝓷𝓪𝔂 𝓾𝓰 𝓲𝓹𝓪𝓭𝓪𝔂𝓸𝓷 𝓪𝓷𝓰 𝓹𝓪𝓷𝓰𝓪𝓷𝓭𝓸𝔂” ito ang paalala galing kay G. Kim na hindi niya malilimutan at patuloy niyang dadalhin sa buhay.

Inilarawan niya ito bilang maalaga, maunawain, lubos na sumusuporta, patuloy na nagbibigay motibasyon at pinapaniwala sa kanilang kakayahan sa kabila ng mga pagkakamali.

Tulad ng isang hardinero na maingat na nag-aalaga hanggang sa pag-usbong ng hardin. Sa loob ng dalawang taon, simula Grade 11 – Duterte hanggang Grade 12 – Oxford, si G. Kim at ang kanyang mga mag-aaral ay magkasamang humarap sa mga hamon ng pagkatuto, kung saan siya ang naging gabay at sandigan, at sila naman ang naging patunay ng kanyang dedikasyon.

Sa bawat aral at hamon ng buhay, sa gabay ng g**o at malalim na koneksyon sa mga mag-aaral ,napukaw at napanatili ang paghubog sa kanilang pangarap, sa kanilang pagkamit at pagharap sa entablado na hindi lamang diploma, sertipiko, medalya, at karunungan ang dala-dala pauwi, kasama ang mga alaala at payo ng kanilang pangalawang ama.

Sa isang makabuluhang hapon ng Paradise Embac National High School , hindi lamang toga, sablay at diploma ng mga mag-aaral ang nanguna sa seremonya, isinama rito ang kuwento ng sakripisyo, pag-asa, at matatag na pangarap ng Batch 2025 – 2026.

Selebrasyon na may isang tinig ang nagbigay buhay at inspirasyon.Isang kahulugan ng tagumpay ang ibinahagi ni Bb. Lyka Faith N. Dalaguit, panauhing tagapagsalita sa araw ng pagtatapos na minsang naging mag-aaral ng mataas na paaralan. Habang nakatayo sa entablado, ibinahagi ni Bb. Lyka, ang kanyang paglalakbay mula sa pagiging isang simpleng estudyante hanggang sa pagharap ng kolehiyo, na kasama ang mga pagsubok sa kanyang daan. Sa kanyang pagsasalaysay, muling nabuhay ang mga karanasang pamilyar sa mga nagsipagtapos: kakulangan sa pera, sakripisyo ng pamilya, ang tahimik na pagdududa, at pakikipaglaban na sarili, na walang kahit sino man ang mapagsabihan at nakakaalam. Mula sa kanyang personal na tagumpay, naging sentro ng kanyang mensahe ang reyalidad ng bawat mag-aaral na “𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘢𝘨𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘱𝘰𝘴 𝘢𝘺 𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪 𝘬𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘱𝘶𝘴𝘢𝘯 𝘬𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘪 𝘴𝘪𝘮𝘶𝘭𝘢 𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘩𝘪𝘳𝘢𝘱 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘣𝘶𝘭𝘶𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘶𝘨𝘵𝘰 𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘶𝘩𝘢𝘺”.

“𝘒𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘯𝘢 𝘣𝘢 𝘬𝘢 𝘴𝘢 𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘺𝘰𝘯 𝘴𝘢 𝘪𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘶𝘩𝘪 𝘬𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘯? ang direktang tanong ni Bb. Lyka sa mga mag aaral na pumigil sa oras at pumukaw sa malalim na muwang ng lahat.

Dagdag niya, “𝘭𝘪𝘣𝘳𝘦 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘱,” 𝘯𝘨𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪 𝘪𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘵 𝘬𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘬𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘬𝘴𝘺𝘰𝘯, 𝘴𝘢𝘬𝘳𝘪𝘱𝘪𝘴𝘺𝘰, 𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘴𝘺𝘰𝘯”. Sa kanyang pagbabahagi, isinasalaysay niya ang mga karanasang puno ng hirap:pagtitipid sa pagkain, pag-iwas sa luho, at paghahanap ng paraan, para mairaos ang araw. Ito ay kailanan man hindi hadlang kundi bahagi ng proseso ng paghubog sa sarili. Ayon sa kanya, “𝘮𝘢𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘩𝘪𝘳𝘢𝘱 𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘪 𝘴𝘢 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘨𝘺𝘢𝘯 𝘬𝘢𝘺𝘴𝘢 𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘶𝘮𝘶𝘣𝘰𝘬 𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘵, 𝘢𝘵 𝘨𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘸𝘢 𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘢𝘨𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘨𝘰”.

Ipinahiwatig niya na ang tunay na laban ay hindi laban sa tao at komunidad, kundi laban sa sarili.

Mula sa kanyang personal na kuwento, unti-unting lumawak ang mensahe tungo sa kolektibong karanasan ng mga nagsipagtapos, isang henerasyong hinubog at pinatatag ng pangarap para sa hinaharap. May kanya-kanyang kuwento ng pakikibaka, anak ng magsasaka, manggagawa, at pamilyang araw-araw na humaharap sa hamon ng buhay.

Sa kabila nito, marapat piliing magpatuloy. Para sa panibagong paglalakbay, na nakasentro ang kahalagahan at papel ng mga magulang na nagsakripisyo, mga g**o na gumabay, at mga kaibigan na naging sandigan at kaagapay na mayroong takot at pananalig sa Diyos. Ang kanilang pagtatapos ay hindi lamang bunga ng sariling pagsisikap, ito ay resulta ng sama-samang suporta ng mga naniniwala sa kakahayan nila.

Sa huli, iniwan ni Bb. Lyka ang isang mensaheng tumatak sa puso “𝘯𝘢 𝘬𝘢𝘩𝘪𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘰 𝘱𝘢 𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘩𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘴, 𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘰 𝘱𝘢 𝘯𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨”. Panapos na wika na naging inspirasyon at kinatawan ng diskarte, katatagan at tagumpay.

Hindi ito sa natanggap na diploma at sertipiko ng pagkilala, maging sa kiling at kinang ng bawat medalya, kasabay nito ang napagdaanang karanasan, sitwasyong naibsan, at mga kagustuhang nagsilbing sandatang daladala, tungo isa iba’t ibang kulay ng pangarap, patunay na ang kanilang kuwento ay hindi lamang isang tinig, marapat lamang na madama.

𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓-𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬

Grade 10 completers and Grade 12 graduates of the Class of 2026 celebrated a significant milestone in a formal and heartfelt ceremony that highlighted their hard work, perseverance, and readiness for new beginnings.

Held on March 20, 2026, one in the afternoon, the graduation ceremony brought together proud parents, dedicated teachers, school officials, and distinguished guests in a vibrant and emotional gathering, as Grade 10 completers and Grade 12 graduates were honored for their achievements and officially marked their transition to the next stage of their academic and personal journeys.

The program starts with the processional and the entrance of colors followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The program also featured a series of meaningful speeches delivered in sequence by Kurt Darylle M. Aquino, with honors, who opened the ceremony with a welcome address, followed by the speeches of Christine Jean E. Valleser and Jhsy Khyle A. Dalangin, both with honors and ranks first in each grade level. A heartfelt tribute to parents was delivered by Allysa Nicole D. Tumatob, with honors, followed by the response of parents from Brian Lee L. Tumatob. The program continued with the words of gratitude and recognition for teachers, parents, and stakeholders, words of gratitude from Joseph L. Bioco and Neri Gabriel S. Miranda, both with honors, the farewell address by Krizel Kate F. Emata, with honors, and the pledge of loyalty which was led by Shiney Lee G. Villarino, before concluding with the closing remarks of Mary Cris A. Hatagi, School Principal II.

She further emphasized that each individual has their own destiny to shape and story to tell, and that it is up to each person how they use their mind, hands, and heart to reach their goals and become the person they aspire to be.

Each smile and tears highlighted the significance of the occasion. Each part of the program reflected the dedication, perseverance, and achievements of the completers and graduates. Altogether, the sequence created a memorable and meaningful celebration of their academic journey and success.

Graduation and completion rites have long celebrated academic milestones, tracing back to ancient universities where students wore robes and received diplomas as symbols of achievement and new beginnings. In the Philippines, the Department of Education (DepEd) upholds this practice in both Grade 10 completion and Grade 12 graduation, marking critical transitions from junior to senior high school and from basic education to higher learning or career paths.

Beyond awarding diplomas, these events recognize the collective efforts of teachers, families, and communities in shaping learners’ journeys and inspiring them to reach for future success.

Students, parents, and the community celebrated achievements with inspiring speeches, heartfelt messages, and a proud showcase of talent.

Achievement is earned, and it is honored. On March 27, 2026, Paradise Embac National High School (PENHS) proudly celebrated its Recognition Day at the school campus. The event honored students from Grades 7, 8, 9, and 11, along with parents who stood as steadfast partners in their educational journey. The program focused on valuing the dreams they aspire to, and the hardships they endured in pursuit of success.

The program was led by Principal Mary Cris A. Hatagi, together with the dedicated teachers of PENHS. The supportive members of the PTA, headed by Samuel Gememtiza, also joined in to show their full support for the event. As the program formally opened, smiles lit up the faces of students, teachers, and parents—proof that recognition of hard work brings genuine joy and inspiration. The LIS-BEIS Coordinator, Ma’am Leah M. Regidor introduced the guest speaker, Ma’am Mecil Pardillo—a proud alumna of PENHS, Batch 2018, and currently serving as a substitute teacher for the school year 2025–2026. Her return as an educator became an inspiration to the students, a living proof that graduates of the school can succeed and later give back to their community.

“𝙍𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧, 𝙢𝙚𝙙𝙖𝙡𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨; 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡 𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙪𝙥,” Sir Jarrey Fernandez, the Podium master reminded everyone. He added that the celebration served as a testament that perseverance, dedication, and family support are essential pillars in achieving one’s goals.

The awarding of certificates was led by Principal Mary Cris A. Hatagi, together with guest alumna Ma’am Mecil Pardillo, PTA leader Sir Samuel Gementiza, and LIS-BEIS Coordinator Lea M. Regidor. Selected students also showcased their talents, adding color and excitement to the celebration.

The event was not only a joyous occasion for the students who received recognition, but also for the parents who wholeheartedly supported their children, making the celebration a true testament to unity between school and family.

In his homily, Fr. Ringo emphasized the importance of using one's knowledge and skills for the betterment of the community. He urged the graduates to be good citizens and contribute to the development of their barangay, school, town, and country.

"Kung unsa Ang inyong natun-an sa iskwelahan dad a ninyo kung asa mo padulong na Maka tabang sa atong komunidad, lungsod, ug nasod," he said. ("𝘉𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶'𝘷𝘦 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘴𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘨𝘰 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘯, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘺.")

He further reminded the graduates that learning is a lifelong process. "Tuod mo graduate na kamo apan magpadayon pa kamo diha sa pagtuon sa sekondarya alang sa elementarya, kolehiyo alang sa sekondarya. Ang pagtuon walay katapusan miskan mahuman kaman sa elementarya, Secondarya, ni mamahimong kana na propisyonal ang pagtuon walay katapusan mamahimong lng kini katapusan kung ikaw mamatay," he said.
