🎨 Celebrating Young Talent and Creativity

SIR Elementary School proudly recognizes Alexis James B. Paguidopon, a Grade 6 Del Pilar learner, for representing the school in the On-the-Spot Poster Making Contest held as part of the World Food Day Celebration organized by the Department of Agriculture XI, in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO).

Through his artwork, Alexis transformed ideas into a visual message that calls attention to the value of accessible food, good nutrition, and responsible care for our communities and environment. His entry reflects the voice of a young learner who believes that creativity can help spread meaningful messages about the future of food and health.

With the guidance of his coach, Sir Jason Padilla Paguidopon, Alexis embraced the challenge with determination and enthusiasm. More than a competition, the experience gave him an avenue to develop his artistic skills, gain confidence, and proudly carry the name of SIR Elementary School.

Learning Together, Growing Together, Serving Better! 🌱📖

Day 2 of the In-Service Training (INSET) for Teachers SY 2026–2027 at SIR Elementary School was another productive day filled with meaningful learning, collaboration, and professional development.

Our teachers actively engaged in sessions focused on the ILAW Framework, integrated reading and numeracy remediation, vocabulary and comprehension strategies, foundational numeracy, bridging learning gaps, collaborative team teaching, and effective classroom management.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our resource speakers and facilitators:

SIR Elementary School officially kicked off Day 1 of the In-Service Training (INSET) for Teachers SY 2026–2027 on September 10, 2026, with a meaningful day of learning, collaboration, and professional growth. 🌱📖

The sessions provided our teachers with valuable opportunities to deepen their understanding and strengthen their practice in PPST indicators, number sense and algorithms, inclusive classroom practices, disaster preparedness, and teachers’ mental health and wellness.

Sa pamamagitan ng natatanging patimpalak na ito, naipamalas ng ating mga mag-aaral ang kanilang talino, kumpiyansa, kagandahan, kultura, at pagmamalaki sa pagiging Pilipino. Higit sa korona at karangalan, ipinakita nila ang pagpapahalaga sa ating wika, kultura, tradisyon, at pagkakakilanlang Pilipino.

SIR Elementary School warmly welcomed Ma’am Donna Dee T. Bolofer, the newly installed Education Program Supervisor (EPS) for Kindergarten of the Schools Division of Davao City, during her school visitation, mentoring, and technical assistance activity.

The visit provided a meaningful opportunity for professional mentoring, technical assistance, and collaborative engagement with our Kindergarten teachers, focusing on strengthening instructional practices and ensuring the effective delivery of quality Kindergarten education. The Term 1 Examination was successfully conducted with a complete set of test papers and proper assessment procedures observed across the examination rooms. 📝👩‍🏫👨‍🏫

During the conduct of the examination, the following indicators were evident:

✅ Well-ventilated and well-lighted examination rooms
✅ Distraction-free environment conducive to focused testing
✅ Accessible comfort room with sufficient water supply near the examination area
✅ Strict implementation of health and safety protocols
✅ Active monitoring of the School Head and concerned personnel throughout the examination

These measures reflect the school’s commitment to ensuring a safe, organized, fair, and learner-centered assessment environment where every learner is given the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills with focus and confidence. 💚📖
